Vic - Bailey sleeps everywhere - which I am really happy about - I am the one that has sleep issues with him being away in his cot at night LOL, but I regularly put him in his cot during the day so I can get stuff done. He sleeps in our bed, in his cradle, on his playmat, in his pram etc which is very handy as if we are out it doesn't affect his sleep. I also ensure there is always noise (except at night) so he doesn't freak out and wake up if he hears a loud noise and this works well, I have vacummed right under his cradle and not woken him hehehehe. I tried to join a mothers group but our local one which is tomorrow is mostly 2nd time Mums, I want to join a group where all the Mums are first time Mums like me and they are all similar ages - its a shame we dont all live close by - DOH. However CYH (same as MCHN in Adelaide) rang me today as I had registered my interest in the 'Getting to know your Baby' classes that run over a month, there is some starting in July so I am going to attend as hoping to hook up to some new Mums that way. They teach things like Baby Massage etc - I would have preferred if they were sooner, but thems the breaks!!

Jacinta - yeah we definately have the same mobile. Ours works fine but it absolutely eats batteries, we have already changed the batteries in the main bit once, the little remote that comes with it is handy. Your's should last longer that this - I would take it back to exchange, thats crappy!!

How funny is this - we have this little brown teddy bear we bought from IKEA which sits on the side of the change table and Bailey always looks for it and smiles at "Change Bum Ted" during a change, today he did a 'fountain' wee and poor Change Bum Ted got a shower so I had to put him in the washing machine and during the next change Bailey was looking for him LOL He smiles more at the teddy than at Mum and Dad
