Raindrops - MCHN is maternal child health nurse - you should be referred to one locally by your middies. i had two different ones call (both local just different zones so i got to pick) on the day or two after i left hospital, as well as having a midwife visit day one at home, and call day 2 - also had LC call on day three (MCHN visited that day) and apparently LC will be ringing today as well. the follow up from my discharge from hospital has been fantastic - can't fault any links in the chain - as much as i'm at home and doing my own thing, i'm still feeling really well supported by everyone. i think after today things will drop off and i'll only go see the MCHN at 4 weeks for next weigh in and some hearing tests and things. the same day i see the GP for my four week follow up post caesar too (busy day - must make sure DH is home from work to drive us around!)
little bit worried about Emerald this morning - she has just projectile puked alllll over me - it's just scary. poor bugger. i she followed it up with a few more little pukes, and just snuggling into me - no crying or anything. i think maybe she had a pain in her belly cos she's let rip a few times, and had another small feed (mummy is being mean and limiting what she has so that it doesn't over fill her tummy again!) with only the teeniest of possets so i'm hoping that's all it was... she also has a bit of a runny nose so will have to see with MCHN if she thinks it's anything to worry about...
