    Hi Adkins!
    I feel your pain!
I had a completely natural birth with no tearing. And it didnt stopping hurting without having to use artifical lubrication until about 6 months post natally.

DH and myself both thought... it is never going to be the same and even now almost 12 months on i get scared sometimes cause i remember how uncomfy it used to be - just need lots of foreplay to get it going again i discovered. (even if it takes 30 minutes of play befroe intercourse) i find DH is happy to do it as then i am much more relxed and we both have a much better time

About 6 months after my first bub before it stopped feeling sore. And it wasn't just the site where I tore but all of the area was super sensitive.

I can still feel it after 5 months too (where the scar is). I read in my book The Next Nine Months that it takes a good 6 months to heal, not 6 weeks as doctors etc say. So yes, mine is uncomfortable but trying other positions helps too.

I'm joining in the sore fanny brigade. I am still uncomfortable. Well, atleast I was at the only attempt I have had dtd since Abbey was born.

I have never torn or had stitches but the extra sensitivity along with no natural lubrication AT ALL, it's very painful indeed.
