Rhianon- Try not to feel defeated, she may have lost 3 kgs of fluid or if she is doing some sort of radical diet, it might not be something she can maintain. Think lifestyle change over diet, this is your forever- to make a fitter healthier you. From everything I have read and heard, the slower you loose it, the more likely it is to stay off. I know in myself I seem to loose in fortnightly cycles rather than weekly, mostly affected by AF and ovulation- so now I know not to be too disapointed on the scales if one week shows not much of a lose, because usually, if I know in my heart of hearts that I have been doing the right thing (instead of just telling myself that I have) it will catch up the next week.

I have had a pretty good day, I got out of bed thinking.........hmmmmmmmm I didnt know I had muscles there (or there, or there etc) and usually I would have said to myself- oh you worked so hard yesterday, you must have because you are so sore, no need to exercise today. But instead I dragged myself out of bed while the house was still quiet (trust my kids to finally learn to sleep in when I hve decided to excercise early in the morning- typical) put on my joggers and stuck in my headphones and off I went on my morning walk.
As for food, I had:

beans on toast (1/2 cup of beans 2 slices of bakers delight hi fibre/ low gi)
small pk of fruit and nut mix
Home made cheese, corn and ham muffin
Some smoked oyster in spring water on vita weat crackers

For dinner I am making a chicken madras curry, which I will serve with clever rice (the low gi one) and steam veg.

Another PT session tomorrow, this one is a tone session - Monday was cardio, and saturday I will do kickboxing session.

Must try and get some more water in today though, think I have only had 1 l so far.
