Yeah it is different to Sureslim.
Dr Cohen is the original diet, which has re-feeding and maintenance where as SS was developed by other Dr's who worked closely with Dr Cohen but do not have the formula he uses for the blood analysis (which is for your refeed) nor do they have refeed or maintenance.
SS has a similar diet, but it is my understanding that they also use seeds on their plans.
I've done SS that's all, there is a maintenance plan and yes, lots of seeds too.
I just remember feeling very hungry but the weight loss was great.

I was hungry for the first few days, after that I was fine. I do get hungry around TTOTM, but I am finding little ways to overcome that now which has helped a lot.
I did this too before I got married - lost 15kgs in about 10 weeks. I then went on my honeymoon where we had the most incredible food you could possibly imagine and then had back to back pregnancies - all before I got to my goal weight and did the refeeding - so you can guess where that 15kgs is now!!
Jodi - I was going to give it another go but Mum talked me out of it. My particular diet, and I'm guessing most of them, leave you quite low on energy (you are specifically told not to exercise while on the diet) and given my PND and dealing with the girls Mum convinced me that for now at least it was a bad move. It is also pretty time consuming in that everything has to be weighed exactly - not like SS where you can just grab a shake.
If you're interested, I'm more than happy to email you my Cohens diet and the "rules" so you can see what sort of things you'd be up against before you commit to a large sum of money.
I will give it a go again in the future, but for now I think it would do me more harm than good - better if I can just find some will power and eat better, get regular exercise, get some sleep!
Sorry to be a downer, but Jody, if you do get Lulu's diet plan... it is best that you don't follow it. You could do yourself some serious damage (kidneys, liver etc) and get very ill from following a plan that is not made for you.
It is fine to obviously follow the rules, but I would not be doing the weighing as such on a plan that wasn't mine. In the end, if you don't finish the refeed, you will not have your body adjusted to help keep the weight off.
My mum is doing an adjusted version of my plan, but she continues to have milk in her coffee and she doesn't weigh anything. She will also do an adjusted version of my refeed when I finish.
On a lighter note, I am now 8w3d into my plan and I have lost 20.1kgs! I am over the moon about these results![]()
I wasn't suggesting Jodi follow my diet - as part of the rules that I'll be sending her it very clearly states not to do anyone's diet but your own. More for information as to what's involved. Its nothing like SS or any other diet that I've ever seen in terms of how incredibly strict it is with what foods you can and can't have, what foods you can have together, amounts etc. Hey, if I could get away with sharing my diet around then I'd charge slightly less than what Cohens charge and pay for a personal trainer and a nanny!!! Its just that Jodi has bubs not much different in age from mine and I really feel I've made the right decision NOT to go back on the Cohens at the moment. Just want her to have a good look before she commits a lot of money.
Your weight loss is brilliant Lisa. It really is a great diet.
Being on a pension seems like a lot of money to pay out, have seen and heard good results but would like an idea of rules and things you have to eat and times etc before paying out this large sum, both hubby and myself would do it so there fore would be a lot larger outlay...thank you heaps and best of luck to all who are on it already...

Hey guys, I though I might just comment on the program seeing as though I started it 2 weeks ago to the day.
I have lost a massive 42 cms in body fat and a massive 6 kgms in only 2 weeks.
Dr Cohen originated the program for fertility reasons.
The food you are allowed is very plain (I eat plain anyways) but is very filling.
I plan on loosing 45kms by July and starting our IUI treatment again.
If anyone would like anyother info please let me know![]()
