hey sammiejane,
i'm the same re gym - i simply can't afford it quite apart from the fact i don't have time lol. so yep, i go for walks with bub in the pram (have a mountain buggy so is *awesome* for walking hills), other than that i go to a weekly 45 min pilates class that is run locally on a saturday morning ($12 per class with concession, so manageable), i have a pilates book i bought at an op shop for $5 years ago and never looked in til this year, i bought a skipping rope from the heart foundation ($6.50) and my intervals mp3 (which i'm sure would be easy to make your own - fast paced music with no lyrics, voice saying "start...15 seconds down...half way...15 seconds to go...aaaand stop" then about 50 seconds of just music and then "congratulations you have just completed round X of 6 rounds, starting again in 3...2...1...go" etc).
so all of those things essentially i can do in a small space. the skipping i do just outside the kitchen door, the intervals i push back the coffee table in the living room and do it there when bub is asleep and the pilates i tend to actually do (very quietly) on the floor in his room after he goes to bed as is warm in there and there is nothing worse than trying to do pilates in the cold lol. i don't have a pilates mat and his room is the only one in the house with underlay and carpet.
oh and (if you're BF) please drink some milk too to keep your calcium, cos you don't want to end up with osteoporosis..hope that helps hun!
welcome miss K and hey tinsel - don't worry about what is past hun, we're looking to the future now!
tellytubby - i actually didn't get time to do any baking yesterday so will have to do it today or tomorrow as spent all time trying to get through a particularly dry reading on the parthenon as global cultural heritage lol... still have about 15 pages to go... gah!

sadness!
What a downer, weighing in 1kg heavier. the 30 day challenge sounds like an awesome idea! I'd love a Wii, got a kinect, and although it rocks, our house is too small for it, so need to re-arrange furniture just to play the bloody thing. Hope you see some results soon!
Welcome to the group, and well done on your 15kg loss, awesomeness! Good luck with the 20ish you have left. My dream is to be 72kg, lol!
Men can be such a PITA sometimes, they really dont get it. My DH is a bit the same, will munch on some apple crumble and custard while I eat a strawberry...... -.-
