    Mildez, hugs hun.
I have totally lost my mojo too.AF has turned up ans is really painful and full on. I was actually worried I might have been hemmoraging it was that bed the otehr day. I'm still in pain and totally over it all. I am tired and lethargic and just blegh. DS2 is feeding 2 hourly round the clock and I'm worrying my supply might be dwindling a bit with all of this blood loss. I have no inclination to worry about my food intake and just want comfort food. I am thinking I might just step away from the weight loss for a little while it one pressure I don't need to put on myself right now.

So congrats to you wonderful, strong and determined people who have lost weight and have continued to do so. You are all so inspiring and I will be back to read your stories of success. I will continue to read this thread as a means of trying to inspire myself and to try to find some of that motivation I need myself! Good luck to you all, I wish you every success, I know how hard it is!

Lilias I feel abit the same that I should just recover from J's birth and get this winter over and start again when things aren't so hectic but I'm a bridesmaid soon and I would love to look back at the photos and feel I looked nicer then I currently would. Thats my main motivation plus DH and my sex life has taken a nose dive and I know its because I don't like the feel of his hands on me and the feel of the wiggle and jiggle of my body. It completely turns me off. Its ridiculous that my size makes all the difference to my libido. Not the fact that I had a baby 10weeks ago. Its so hard. I hate how I did so well for a month and lost almost 6kilos only for it to ALL go back on in 1weeks. F you Fat rolls. Now I'm angry. Its not fair that it can go back on so fast when it doesn't come of that quick.

Hugs Mildez. We have a wedding in November I'd like to look good for too, I'm not a bridesmaid or anything, but I just don't want to look like this or struggle to find a nice dress to wear. And I hear you on the relationship stuff. I have never really been conscious of my body with DH until now. I found myself last night reaching for a towel when he walked in on me getting dressed after my shower. He doesn't show that he cares, though I know he doesn't appreciate physically me like he used to! I just feel like crap.
Try to be kind to your self hun, you really have just had a baby. 10 weeks is not a long time. Plus the old saying, 9 months on, 9 months off. Give your body time to heal and get back into shape from pregnancy and birth. It will take time. And it's better for your body for it all to happen slowly, then it's more likely to stay off!

Hugs to you both Mildez and Lilas - weightloss is a tough thing to conquer - I know how it goes, I've worn those shoes before too. I've been in the one step forward, two steps back routine too. And just like weight, we lose fitness soooo quickly too (but luckily gain that back relatively quickly!). If your head space is consumed with other stuff (and hey, a newborn and other health concerns can be very worthy of your thoughts too) then maybe just healthy eating and gentle walking just to lift your spirits might do the trick? Don't give up hope girls - no matter what your weight - you're still beautiful people, inside AND out!

Belfie - I totally recommend getting back to Les Mills - but I'm biased lol. Its the music that does it for me, and I know classes like Attack really give great results. Don't be afraid thinking you're not fit enough for it - I started out feeling big and slow with it only 3 weeks ago....now i'm feeling much lighter and athletic with each move. Or give RPM a shot perhaps? You could always manipulate the dial to suit how your feeling .

AFM - I am lucky enough for the next fortnight to have DH home in the evenings which allows me to exercise after my last meal. I find I lose much more weight by exercising late evening. It can be tiring, but I just think of the reason why I'm doing it and if that doesn't do it I just grin and bare it till the music takes over. I'm into the 65's now after a 700 gram loss overnight, but give or take how that'll even out when considering water weight, muscle gain etc by next weekend...Getting closer to that BMI goal I share with you Belfie .

I hear you ladies!!! I'm sick of the emotional weight loss journey already. With not having the time or support to put myself first (which I feel we must do to lose weight) this up and down is doing my head in.

Emotionally I'm grabbing for food again.

Leesa do you know why late exercise works for you? Is it something trying?

Danielle- when anyone exercises at a moderate to high intensity, upon finishing the exercising the body continues to burn calories at that higher rate (depends on the person as to how long that lasts for). So not only would I have pretty well burnt off my final meal I eat of the day, I would also not be 'adding to it' by eating more after exercise. A Choice magazine article I read sometime ago couldn't confirm or deny this theory, but I can tell ya first hand it has always worked well for me . All I do is drink some water during and after the exercise. It also helps me sleep afterwards too. If you can manage it give it a try for a fortnight or so and see how you go with it.

Vixstar thank hon I also counted calories in teh past and have lot weight that way several times. I got addicted to it! and i found it LIBERATING! No more guilt! If I wanted something and I had the calories for it than I could eat it, simple as that!! And you soon learn what the better choices are. I've also done JC. I found it great too as I didn't have to think about anything at all, just eat the food (which I liked) that is how I lost 8kg's after DS was born... still have a ways to go though after I couldnt' afford to stay on JC.

Leesa & Vixstar that would have been 5000KJ not cal I agree about he counting calories, people pretty much eat the same stuff day in and day out for example you know how much a slice of bread it, a tsp of butter a cup of tea with a tsp of honey and milk etc how much your yoghurt is... It's pretty easy when you are in the swing of it. Wish I had the motivation to do it again! I got the food diary otu but didn't fill it in properly How great are you doing your workouts are home too ahhh such an inspiration! I have a gym here at home which I think I'm going to add an excercise bike too. AND YAY for the 65's

    Belfie you go girl!!

Mildez I'm so sorry about your little one Hang in there and I think you're allowed to come in here and whinge, that's what we are here for, support

lilias no pressure is the way to go hon, if you're not in the right head space you'll only feel bad if you dont' stick to all the things you say you want to. Besides you might surprise yourself and loose weight when you're not even trying!

Danielle how about a home pamper day for those emotional times? I love those when I'm feeling a bit off rather than reaching for the food... paint my nails, do a facial, hair treatment etc.

AFM A good day again but not so sure about dinner tonight Dare I say it.... We might have pizza We are celebrating! Today I told my boss I am not coming back from maternity and I officially get to stay at home with DS full time woohoo!

aaaaah HAHAHAHAHA SNAP!!! So did I! so happy healthy BMI to both of us! It's just the BEST feeling! I'm hoping it'll still be there on Sat which is my official weigh-in day! So saying, I was half a kilogram UNDER my healthy BMI point, so it's looking good!

Re Les Mills, I think I'd love it, that's true. And even though I'm not as fit as I'd like to be, there's only one way to get fitter! But I don't want to have to join a gym at this stage. I have a good exercise bike, I'm getting back into running, I have some weights & I do a lot of walking with the kids. I just don't have the time (or the cashola) to put on a gym at present. I thought (could be wrong) that I couldn't really do it unless it was in a gym setting?

Mildez & Lilias - I was popping in & out of here for quite some months before the time was right for me to get started. I WANTED to start, but it was just not the right time for ne. So keep reading & join us when you're ready. Plus it is so hard with little bubbas & interrupted sleep. I think waiting till things have settled is a very good idea. When it is the right time, you will do it and you feel great.

    YAY belie!!! SNAP !!!!!!

It sounds like you are doing heaps of great things without hitting the gym, so I'd say 'stick with what ur doing' Hun. And yeah, to do les mills you would have to be in a gym...

Crossing fingers we both maintain or better our weight loss on Saturday

Aah well my weight loss this morning wasn't quite as good as i'd hoped - 200g loss. BUT, I did just sneak over into a healthy BMI, so gotta be happy with that! I have AF now too, so hoping for a better loss next week given I worked really hard this week! So to keep myself motivated, am reminding myself that I've lost 25cm off my measurements (8 boobs, 10 waist, 7 hips).

Next mini goal - the weight I got down to after having DS. I'm 700g away... and I'd like to get there within the next 2 weeks. So my goals to help me get there are:
    • Walk at least 30 mins each day
    • Do a class at least once a week (Zumba)
    • Run at least once a week
    • Drink 2 litres (or more) water every day
    • Eat two pieces of fruit

How is everyone else going? Leesa, enjoying that healthy BMI?

Hey JBM, at least you have an excuse for looking pregnant lol! I could easily pass for 12 weeks at the moment!

I am back from holidays and gained 3kg eeek! I have started the 17 day diet and am on day two and feeling pretty good. Haven't really felt hungry and have been peeing like a champion! Don't know whether it's the green tea or the lemon water or what!

    Hi,
I'm hoping to join in here

I have put on a few kg since Easter and I am still 11kg heavier since falling pg. I'm not expecting it to fall off, but weight gain is NOT what I want
My trouble is that I am hungry in the evenings after putting the girls to bed and the cluster BF so I snack... DH eats toast in the evenings so I have been too.
I'm not expecting massive losses, but need to be moving downwards from now on.
Going to the gym is out cos of irregular BF and DH's work, so I'm trying to do a long walk (45mins +) 3 times a week and 10,000 steps a day.
I'm feeling awful and to make matters worse I am presenting to 350 people in 2 weeks time and none of my work clothes fit me yet

...where jumping on the bed is mandatory!
    2,225

HI. im joining to....i have 4 inces to loose from my waist line. the rest will just fall into place with it. i have a massive sweet tooth, which is my dwn fall. DD2 is 3 months so it time to shift the baby tummy so dd1 can stop asking if i have another baby in there!!!!

so far today im doing awesome, but its the evening when i start eating crap!

-no chocolate/sweet stuff. had a cuppa when i felt the sweet tooth kicking in.
    -eaten healthy all day (3pm)
-played more active games with dd1 in the garden
-no juice, always drink juice, today just water and tea
-10 mins of pilates, first excercise ive done in literally YEARS!!

i needed to make myself accountable or id never do anything, i dont have a social circle to speak of here, so i made an album on facebook, only viewable by a few friends i feel comfortable sharing with and took a pic of my waist measurment and my goal jeans i want to fit into. each week i will add another photo.

will go back and read but dd2 is waking up so gotta run. good luck all

these are some good ideas but what do i do when i am so so tired i wanna go for a walk but i just have NO energy ?
i have been ok with eating,
but lots of smaller meals makes my morning/ evening sickness go away
which is really really hard to eat well
i don't wanna even get on the scales and my tummy feel so fat for only 10 & half weeks. :-(

Hey JBM, it can be mentally and physically tough trying to lose weight and keeping active during pregnancy. I kept going on the scales thru out my last pg only because it served as an insurance policy so that I didn't over eat or choose unhealthy foods - kinda like 'big brother was watching' and not using pg as an excuse, iykwim? Don't be too harsh on yourself Hun *hugs*. As for not having the energy to walk, the only advice I can offer is to just do it anyway - push thru it and after 5 - 10mins it should actually invigorate you; if it doesn't, listen to your body and rest and try again the next day.

AFM - into the 64's as of yesterday ! So very happy!!

How are you going Belfie, cherished, mildez, lilas, Danielle, mr s, vixstar and anyone else I've accidentally forgotten!
