Can I join girls? I may not be going to the meet up unless we have moved up to the Goldie which is a high possibility at the moment as we are considering Melb an d Goldie as hubbys new job opportunities. I have been following the thread but too shy to post, but weighed myself this morning and after picking myself up off the floor I really need to lose 40kgs

Kicked off my bike-riding to work today with R2W day - as I posted on facebook:

    Distance Travelled: 28.81km
    Time taken: 2 hrs 08min
    Avg speed: 13.4km/hr
Max speed: 40.7km/hr (prior to meeting up with David I was freaking at 25km/hr!)
Rainstorms: 3 mild, 1 very heavy
Hill climbs: 1 (and with David’s coaching, I rode the whole way up!)

My goal now is to ride to work 1 day/week until I get fit enough to do 2 days/week!

My new mini-goal is to ride to work and home again

    I shall join you

I don't have a set of scales - the last set broke coz they dropped on the floor (they are stored sitting on their side) and the tempered glass shattered - so I'm now going on what clothes I'm wearing.

Jasp thats great, I have walked mon and tuesday but didnt get time today, but i worked and was on my feet all day so couldnt really be bothered tonight. I will make and effort to walk tomorrow though. As for the eating i have definetley cut back and think before i eat. I did have a bread roll today but not potatoes with dinner. Usually i would have had 3 roast spuds. I love carbs.. hence my fat butt..

    Wink

I popped on the scales today after a few weeks and i seriously thought i had put on weight as when i'm stressed or grieving rather than NOT eat like i think 'most ' people i pick at food especially late at night cause i'm a night owl & that's how i put weight on. So, i was happy to see today my weight has stablized, thankfully i haven't put on

... hanging to go for another big walk as i did the other day but it's been nothing but rain, rain & more rain here ... come on sunshine

I have been doing great this week with my excersise, had 2 one hour personal training sessions, and another today ( yes its a luxury for me, but with all i have been through these past few years, i am spoiling myself, with making myself feel good) i have been doing this for around 6 months now and love it, its such hard work, but my trainer pushes me, there is no way i could do what i do without him, just going to the gym.

my problam is food, i think cause im working so hard at the gym, i get so hungry..

...must not eat...chips, lollies, chocolate..and DONUTS are my weakness.

jasp and kazbah..well done on your motivation girls

yes i dont owm scales here either..with me its more about how i feel, not what the scales say

OMG i had a go at Aqua Fit (water aerobics) today and gee whiz am i sore, i cant imagin how i am going to be in the morning. I use to do it years ago but now that i am super unfit it killed me. I Have decided to go 3 times a week a walk the other 4 days. I really enjoyed it and with having a bad back and knee working out in the water is great.

    How is everyone else going?

Aqua aerobics is really good. I was just talking to mum about this last night, we are going to start again.
I have been reeeeally naughty today, I've had a sausage roll and an iced coffee I couldn't help myself, I was craving for them big time! But I've been super good all week, so that was my treat
