I find the article interesting. I try not to label my parenting, I do not practice 'attachment parenting' nor have I let my children CIO, but have certainly allowed them to cry and be comforted.
I don't understand why crying in a baby or young child is seen as such a negative event - I cry when I am frustrated, angry, sad, anxious etc. Why is a baby not supposed to express these emotions?
