Eenee - that's great weight gain! Clearly you're a great example of tandem feeding - I'll be coming to you with all of my questions! Number one is, when did you notice colostrum instead of milk before the baby was born?

Yeah my MW tells me my body is amazing being able to breastfeed 3 kids! Oh and I was pumping for a 4th at one stage.
My milk gradually changed throughout pregnancy so milky colostrum like but wasn't until DS was born that it was full on colostrum and this time took a couple of days for the colostrum to come in and longer for my milk (thinking though due to me having gastro when I went into labour and hadn't eaten in two days or drank much). But after DS1 it came in straight after birth.

Don't think I'm sleeping tonight. Nothing regular, but I've been having contractions all day. They're getting stronger but not settling into a pattern. They're strong enough to wake me up from a doze though!

Congrats teni!!!!!!!

My doula found me a tub and it was delivered today! Which might be perfect because I've started having irregular contractions, lots of trips to the bathroom, and tons of mucus plug!

Oh Teni, I just teared up reading that. I was in such awe of the everyday, normalness of a home birth. Don't mind me, just had a baby... heading back to bed now. Congratualtions!!!

I'm very behind here as I went on couple of months hiatus and I don't seem to have the time to re-read everything. I am SO thrilled you have had your baby eenee and SO glad it was a HB. I really hope you're feeling better now baby is born xx

And as for me... we're super, super, super excited to find out we're expecting number three next August. Baby just needs to hang in there cause it's early days still. Fingers crossed!!
