    Hi all!

    Welcome Jess.

Hi Ali. I'm Skye. Hope the move went well. We are making a long distance move soon. Hopefully before the end of the year. Just have to find a house!

Yeah I'm over people thinking I'm a tart too! DD1 is the only one out of us to have blonde hair. ALL my kids have the same father & just coz she has different coloured hair they just assume. They don't think that DH & I BOTH had blonde hair as kids!!
We got together when I was 16 & Anthony had just turned 18. So thats over 8 years now. We got married in November 2006 & had both the girls as our flower girls.
We got married for us, not the kids. I fell pg with Jesse about 10 or 11 months after we got married. Everyone asks me too if they all have the same father, but not as often on the streets. More in centrelink & places like that. You'd think they'd look on their puters & see that all the kids have the same surname...Duh!

Anyways. Hope everyone is better than me! My darling boy was up all night with his teeth I think, then I had to be up at 8 with the girls while he slept til 11!! Not fair!
Hoping we sleep a little better tonight.

Hi Ali, welcome back hope the move went smoothly.

It's kinda relaxing to see/hear that we are not alone in the 'your a young mum= your unfit or a tramp' but also great to see that we dont let it get to us too much.

I got my baby back today. lol. She stayed at my sisters last night and i was sooooo lost without her, i was bored and bored and lost, im never letting her stay out again. lol.
She woke up with a blood nose at 4am this morning so my poor sis didnt get much sleep :S have to talk to the doc about these blood noses, she doesnt get them alot but she gets them maybe once a month, i think she might pick her nose when shes sleeping but she had a hole in her heart (which she had kinda fixed in 2006...long story) so im just worried it may be related in some way. My neice says it could be cause she was hot and when shes overheated she gets them.. i dunno but i would rather be extra safe. My next checkup is on thursday morn and she gets her 4yr old imms then too so ill ask the doc then.

Well im gonna go have some mylanta and some yoghurt cause i have heartburn

    Talk laters ladies.

wow Skye, ur girls sleep in untill 11????? i WISH mine did!!! but mine go to bed pretty early.... their both sound asleep as we speak (7pm)

had a crazy night with Shanelle (the 3yr old) and trying to get her to eat veges

i told her if she didnt eat them shed have them for breakfast.... because she said well screamed and cried (after being put in the corner) that she was tired.... so i wonder what her reaction will be when she has veges for breakfast..... ha ha

also fighting a little bit with the DP EXTRA ... as he was supposed to wash bottles and kiara was ready 4 bed and he went off to watch home an away..... so annoying when hes lazy!!! anyone else have this problem??

Jess - NO!!! My girls are up well before 8 every morning! It was Jesse my boy who slept til 11. Coz he was up crying all night.
The girls were up at 5am yesterday morning!

& my DH...I really don't wanna go there, but I will. Just to make you feel better. HE DOES NOTHING!!! Never has! He's only really started doing things here & there (like ...umm...getting Jesse when he's crying or having a shower with him) since we had Jesse.
He still really does nothing. Not even for himself. Hence the reason I'm moving away. We are staying together, but I'm going back up to the coast where my mum is coz I have no fam or friends here & no support from him.

Hi Skye, I know you quite well, I tend to lurk in you baby buddies thread to keep an eye on my gorgeous niece, whom I miss very much, and I very much miss Danni, but she can talk to me, Jazz cant.

So much has happened in the past 2 weeks. Em is walking now, and has cut 2 more teeth, she now has 5 teeth. So now we officially have 2 toddlers

I am looking into prices for flights back to Adelaide for my uncle's wedding now so much to do so little time...

ahhhhh i c i c!! poor Jesse any idea why hes been crying so much??

poor u up at 5am!! and i thought getting up at 6 to get kiara a bottle was bad enough!! although this morning she had a bottle at 5 and then got up at 6 ... and then i snuggled in with Nelly who decided she wanted to sleep on the couch! not that i got to snuggle for long.... lol

yeah well after he watched home and away he came out and did the dishes straight away.... so he did half ok i guess.... but still bloody lazy lol.... its so irritating to ASK him to do things for his daughter n stuff! but i dunno sometimes he knows he does bad and he tries... other times i guess laziness gets the better of him! and maybe i was a bit harsh last night because i said he was a lazy daddy n etc.... so i guess thats why he did the washing up straight away!

My little ones got 2 new teeth too.... i wonder if i can call her a toddler now shes walking and has 4 teeth???? although shes only 9 months.... so i dunno what i would call her!!! .... but 2 toddlers alioop! good luck! hehe

Wow Alyssa is a great sleeper, she goes to bed between 7-8 and we get up at 7, but before we started taking DP to work she would sleep in til 8.30-9. I can only hope Charli is such a good sleeper too. hehe

As for DP's.. trav isnt too bad, he does however have his lazy days, we have this agreement... whoever cooks the other cleans the dishes, 5-6 out of 7 nights and lately my back has been so sore hes been alot more helpful than usual... vacuming etc. (although he has only vacumed once since i've been preg. lol)
With alyssa we take it in turns reading her a book and bathing/showering her so looks like i've got a good one compared to you guys, i would really crack it and prob couldnt handle doing it all by myself although i better start cause Trav's looking for a 2nd job (working nights/and maybe weekends) he really wants to buy a house.

Skye- i hope your lil man feels better today and his teeth stop giving him so much greaf.

Well i'll be back later, hope your kiddies didnt get up too early for ya this morning.

wow Alyssa is a good sleeper! kiara USED to sleep till 8am.... then again she used to sleep allnight too! now she wants me to gt her a bottle half way during the night! must be something i do because Nelly used to do that same thing as a baby... ah well doesnt bother me too much. only takes me 2 seconds n then im back to bed... hopefully she gets to be a sleeper like nelly but... that kid will sleep through a hurricane!!

did u do anything special to get alyssa to sleep so good?

and u lucky lucky thing with ur DP... i must sound like such a whinger but i guess im just annoyed! .... i have more whinges from this morning lol..... blah!

    whats everyone up 2 2day?

Goodmorning You girls have ben busy.

Kirra, RE blood noses, definately get it checked out, especially if she gets more than one. One is just and odd occurance more than one could be something else. Is there lots of blood? Or just a small dribble? You've got a wonderful DP.

Ali, woohooo on the walking, thats great!

Jesska, I classify any baby that walks as a toddler. So I think your lil miss is great! Brendan walked at 15 months....

DP's..... mine is a lazy so and so. He doesn't even put his own rubbish in the bin and whinges when i dont wash his clothes, mind you he wont put the clothes in the washing basket either. Seriously I look after 2 kids here. I'm so glad he goes to work each day....

Sleeping kids... Brendan used to sleep really really well, I mean he'd only be awake for 4-6hrs a day, but since about 12 months I'm lucky to get one full night a week. The rest of the time he wakes up screaming. And not just once a night it's 5+ times a night. He sleeps from about 9pm until about 7am. If I put him to bed earlier he wakes earlier in the morning.

Anyhoo... whats everyone up to today?
I have another lazy day at home!

im having my friends come over a bit later n having subway.... its a weekly thing we do. as subway is just around the corner from my house! well i guess i have a toddler then.... where did my baby go!! i never got a chance to have her as a baby!! hehe...

yeah i get the DP whinging about not having clothes too. even though the entire time weve lived togethor hes done washing ONCE.... he at least knows where the washing basket is.... and i hear ya about the 2 kids thing. he seems to think its a dream that i do nothing all day..... doesnt seem 2 realise that sometimes i dont do the washing because im sick of being the only person who does anything so sometimes i have no motivation to do it!!! by the way my DPs name is Brendan too hehe.... hopefully ur son wont turn out as lazy though!!

Yep, my DH can't put rubbish in the bin, plates or cups in the sink, clothes in the basket (or back in the drawers when he pulls them out to get dressed). He always leaves stuff lying around for Jesse to get into - eg, an ash tray this morning. Lucky he only tipped it out & didn't try eating it.

Better go. I gotta get this house clean coz the owners are selling it & bringing someone through tomorrow.

Oh, & we are moving back to the beach in about 6 weeks. I'm so excited!! Well me & the kids are. Anthony is moving in with a mate & staying here for work. Got most things organised, just gotta find a way to try & get all our stuff up there in one go & pack!

Oh Ali, Your the sister that moved away. Cool. Now I got it, lol.

Well my neice and nephew are over while my sis goes out to lunch, they are occupying alyssa (they are playing the wii, again) so im free to whatever, yay.

Alyssa was actually a bad sleeper at first (upto 10.5mths) cause i let her sleep in bed with me... everynight since she was born, i dont suggest it and i def wont be doing it with Charli, i took her to sleep clinic in rosebud and its all about controlled crying, now she sleeps right through the night and has done since we went to sleep clinic but all kids are different. Whatever you do dont let them in your bed, its easier to listen to them cry for a couple of nights and get them into a routine than try to get them out of your bed.

Wow, my DP is so excellent compared, i dont mind doing his washing and stuff and i always make sure its done but if i dont feel like doing it i'll tell him and he'll do it himself, he always says thank-you as well and shows his appreciation to me for cooking and cleaning, he's really great. I have to say i dont know anyone who doesnt like him, he gets on with everyone and likes most ppl, hes a really great guy, if anything he deserves better than me. lol

Good luck with jobs, i used to work at burger king and it was great, i only worked there for a yr and the worst thing about it was the gay pants they tried to make me wear which came up above my belly button (:P no way) i never wore them and quit when they said i had to. lol. Bout 2 yrs ago i got a restaurant manager position i went for but DP told me to turn it down cause i had more brains than that and he wanted me to get a better job with better hours etc.

Re Alyssa's blood noses they are usually a fair bit of blood like she knocked it (i think she might pick it, but who picks there nose is their sleep????)

I'm off to make lunch, talk soon
