Paula GL for your ET tomorrow, sounds like you have some lovely embies there. Apart from my first FET, I have always transferred 2, no luck yet but I have a tonne of hope that some day soon.

WLAB, yay for starting injections, I hope your new dose makes all the difference.

Hi to Julie, MsPink, CP, Smithy (bring on your FET), Sara, Nicole and everyone else.

AFM, I am just waiting, have been temping so I know when I O, so I know when to expect AF so I can start again . Am CD22 today and still nothing, so as usual looks like it will be a long cycle after stims last month. Bring on AF!

    Big hugs to everyone. xx

BDT, sounds like we are in the same boat...I am doing my share of waiting too but I am not fussed, I usually don't look forward the first 2 days of AF so I am trying to fit in all my social engagement before then...currently CD25 and expect 'the old friend' shows up on Sunday.

WLAB, YAY for starting the cycle, I probably will be about a week behind you, nevertheless can still get crazy together during TWW...

Paula, good luck hun with EPU, I hope all 3 embies are doing well and you get to put back the star performer!

Smithy, Keeping an keen eye on you for this cycle, I got the feeling this is IT!

    to my special friend Lulu....

Julie, Sara, I know you guys are waiting to see when to start the next cycle, enjoy this little break, they are as good as a holiday...I took it as 'chicken soup for the soul'...

Paula - I've put back in 2 when I've had 2 (and 1 when I only had 1). I'd probably continue with the 2...but it's a very personal decision. Also, and this is an issue that I personally have to be concerned about, I will definitely require an amnio. It has just been confirmed that my last m/c was due to another chromosomal abnormality. I will try to explain what I think I my FS said: when you have non-identical twins, to test both via amnio they have to take fluid from both in order - to test both. This is more risky than having to do a single amnio (I don't know the percentages), but it is something that weighs on my mind.

    Big hello to everyone else...

Baby Dreamtime and Cuddlepie hope that AF shows up soon so that you can both jump straight into your next cycle.

Thank you so much for all your well wishes and support. I now have a nice looking early blastie on board. First time that i have had an u/s guided transfer and also first time that DH joined me so its been a great experience overall. Now just have to hope and pray that this little "Soccer ball" (as referred to by FS) keep growing and decides to stick somewhere nice and cosy. So now the dreaded wait begins. BT is booked in for 18th May. Keeping everything crossed till then.

Thanks again for all your beautiful thoughts ladies. I truly appreciate it xx

    Awesome news Paula!!!

Great to see some new faces in here to keep us 'oldies' company. Hi to everyone else specially Loula - Hi Hun!

Hubby and I are off to stay at a hotel in the city tonight as we are doing an IUI cycle and he has to be at MIVF at 8pm to make a deposit but I dont have to be there till 10:30am too long to hang around but not enough time for him to drive all the way home and pick me up....plus I soooooo do not do mornings. To go from home we would have to be upp at 6am and after two of those starts this week for scans I really do not want another early start.

We have decided (and our specialist says okay shock horror!) to do a few IUI cycles and see how we go. After a few failed PGD cycles and the fact that the four times I have been prgenant have been natural conceptions we have decided that wew would rather be able to fork out the cash for an IUI each month and take the risk that we may have another miscarriage. Because at the moment to be honest having to wait twelve months to save up the required $8000 out of pocket for a PGD cycle is doing my head in. We had just saved up enough to go for a fresh PGD cycle and on Easter Sunday our 1 yr old fur baby got hit by a car and there wen $2500 on vets bills in three days....grrrrr. So we will IUI for a while using an atagonist protocol and the added prednisone and clexane protocol advised by Dr. Sacks and see how we go......fingers crossed!!

By the way I have just finished reading the most awesome book about the pioneering work done by Dr. Alan Beers in the area of repoductive immunology. He died in 2006 2 weeks before this book was published - I tell ya it is an awesome eye opening read and I highly recommend it for anyone who has been long term TTC.....It is called "Is your body baby friendly?" and was loaned to me by of all people my acupuncturist who had just got it as she now has two patients with immune related fertility issues.

It's a great read.....basically he is/was of the opinion that women with as little as one miscarriage should think about investigations and it goes in depth to explain how the immune system interacts in pregnancy and methods on how to deal with it...also some very interesting food for thought on egg quality and how to improve it etc etc.....very non mainstream but very interesting stuff!!

Paula - great news happy PUPO! xx

    Hi Mel

Thanks for thinking if me, having a bit of a tough time again at the moment but what changes! The book you mention is great i read it last year before going to see Gavin, i hope that it will be an insperation for you.

GL with the IUI, i would do the same if it wernt for my tubes! BG is a reminder that it can work, even after trying IVF.

    Take care
