Sorry for the suspense - but it is a good sign of the great support in here!
No good news from me I'm afraid. It was a negative as I kind of thought it would be. Completely negative, nothing on the radar - never implanted. Was hard to take the news at work, nurse said she would know at 1.30pm and I asked her not to call til 3.30pm when she was ready to finish for the day. I still had so much to do from that point that I just went back to work, feeling numb, head still racing but didn't feel it enough to even cry.
She said that I have the choice of either waiting a month or going straight back into a natural FET cycle, but advised that I need to be aware that coming off a stim cycle your body can be a bit mucked up and we won't really know my cycle so well and know when I'm ovulating again. So what I gather is the only affect of that is that it will mean more BT's and US to find the exact time that I am ovulating so we then do an FET??
I said I was sure that we would go straight back as I don't want to have to wait any longer but said I would sleep on it and chat to DP.
Feeling sad, but not surprised, dissapointed and wish I knew WHY! But nurse said there is no particular reason - she said there is still a lot of luck involved and that it didn't mean it wasn't going to happen. She did say a negative on the first cycle is one of the hardest to take! I hope so - I don't want to feel like this again.
Anyway on my 3rd vodka and lucky I have a good man by my side who has cooked me dinner and is trying to keep me positive. Will allow myself to be sad tonight but try pick the chin up tomorrow and look forward!
