Dusty - I hadn't thought of doing what you suggested, but I don't think it would work for me and DH because he had a vasectomy about 10 years, hence the impossibility of conceiving naturally. If only!!

Melsta - thanks hun, I feel a bit more reassured now, and I hope we can make it to EPU.

BD - I assumed that I would have to cancel before EPU to avoid having to pay the full whack for the cycle, so I am very heartened by what you said, which means we could wait and see whether any eggs fertilise before cancelling. I will definitely talk to my FS about that possibility, should he want to cancel. Your advice has been a BIG help!

Well, I had the call from the clinic this arvo with the results of the BT and instructions from my FS: he wants me to continue on the Gonal F and Synarel till Monday and then I'll have another BT and ultrasound to see how things are. I know I'm not out of the woods just yet, but at least it's not a definite cancellation just yet, which is something. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that there'll be at least a few good follies ready to go. All I have to do is sit and wait...and wait...and wait
