hope all are well! Thank u for your support and kind words, it made the last few days a lot easier to deal with, thank you.

Just a short update on me; yesterday was EPU and I think I was more concern about the eggs that would be collected, I didn't really think about how I would feel . Well on a good note 16 mature eggs where harvested, and should find out today how many of those have been fertilised , however my tummy is so tender and I have been told to keep an eye out for OHSS, as I am at risk. How long does this feeling last for? I was thinking before hand that I would be back at work today, but really I can't get off the couch, but because I am drinking so much water (they said to drink 2-4lts a day for 3 weeks) I am up and down to the loo .

Anyway I am sure this feeling will pass, as I start Gel on Sunday and Transfer will be Tuesday, so then I will be able to join others in the 2ww period.

Enough complaining from me, I knew I would never make a good patient.

    Anyway n for you all

Loula - thats why i was leaning towards IUI but as the Dr has told us we have a better chance of success with IVF DH has kind of already got he's mind set on that. I don't really know too much about it either, havent had much time to do any research. How are you feeling? Sorry i can't help with your question but i do have my fingers crossed that it's a good sign!

Dream bub - I'm only on my second month of trying acupuncture, but i've already noticed a big improvement in the way my cycle works. Fingers crossed you'll be able to get in another FET before xmas comes.

Jo - Enjoy the Robbie Williams concert, it should be fantastic! What you said about washing the sperm is pretty much how my Dr explained the IUI to me. Your right - with xmas etc in between the 4th Jan will be here before you know it.

Macca - Hope your tummy starts to feel better soon. Probably a stupid question but what does OHSS stand for? Hope everything goes well for you on Tuesday.

Well the lady from the FS clinic just called me and they've had a cancellation, they can now fit us in on 11th December - that's only a week and a bit away!

    Hi all,

Macca - hope you're feeling better soon.

Loula - from what I have read the pimples you are seeing on your bb are a good sign for pg, apparently we always have a few but when pg you develop a lot more & bigger.
    Fingers crossed for you.

Boo - yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for the cancellation, not long to wait now.

    Have a good weekend, Jo

Hi again and it is great to here others have felt as I am right now! I feel if you put a pin in me I would pop.

Boo - I don't beleive in any silly questions, and I had no idea what OHSS was before all this OHSS is Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) they say it is because one develops many eggs and/or blood test before the EPU measures your hormones as high one may develop OHSS.

The clinic called this moring to let me know that we have 10 fertilised eggs. 4 didn't fertilise and 3 not muture enough. Now waiting to see how many make it to day 5, as the clinic has said that we will still loose a few in the next few days , but at the moment numbers are on our side, whcih we are really happy about.

Thanks again and I must admit that my DH is waiting on me hand and foot, which I am enjoying. The next 5 days will be trying and it is harder when all you are doing is laying on the couch and resting, my mind just never turns off. Thanks again

DJTTC - I am off to Robbie Wiliams on the 13th & cant wait - somthing (Someone to take my mind of TTC. HOpe you had a great night. Also I did IUI for a year with no luck and was so keen to start IVF it wasnt funny. If you can afford the IVF treatment I would go for it, as it seems like fasttracking - but thats just me! Reserach weel and do what makes you most happy.:P

Loula - Hopefully you are experiencing good signs. Fingers crossed for you. Dont test b4 day 10 as my doc informs me any sooner would be too soon and may show a false negative.

Macca -good luck with fertilisation and ur TF next week. I love blasties! Hoping you get some healthy ones. rest up and relax. Water, water water!

Boo - Love to hear a progress report on the benefits of your accupuncture and herbal remedies......

    Have a good weekend girls.
