The results seem to be so random - my first round I had 9 collected but only got two to transfer, this time I've been much luckier, but haven't done anything different. AFM iv missed this website so much lol im back from Fiji and we had a wonderful time ladies, its beautiful over there and it was just what we needed. We were both really sad coming home i think its been such a destraction for so long for us and now its over and IVF is our focus again but it was gr8 while it lasted! im terrified for DH's sperm DNA frag results tomorrow and AF is due (hopefully) so need to make the call to westmead to see if we can fit in for our 2nd STIM cycle I had a horrible dream the other night about DH's sperm having only 10% DNA so we needed a donor, i woke up crying and upset for ages. I hope your all doing well and feeling some early pg signs xx

I have been asked to take 2x Pregnyl injections rather that crinone every night. I'll take 1 x pregnyl on Tuesday, and the other on Thursday. I was going to POAS right through this cycle - but I heard that Pregnyl can register a false positive on a HPT. In my opinion, only thing WORSE than a negative HPT is a false positive one! Though, I have NEVER seen 2 lines on a HPT ever... wow...
Anyway... just a catch-up - will read-up on everyones posts later tonight.
Good luck FGS! Yes, remember to breathe!! I MUCH preferred having Pregnyl than crinone but that's just me. Two injections then you can just relax (LOL IYKWIM). Perfectly normal for you to feel super emotional. Hoping those little embies are growing strong and ready for a nine month stay. Great you are having acupuncture too - if nothing else, it is very calming. I know what you mean about never having seen 2 lines on a HPT. I never did a POAS for the one time I got pregnant and now I wish I had! Was just too scared. The Pregnyl reduces in your system by roughly half each day so you would still pick it up on a HPT up to six days after the last injection so you really are going to have to wait it out. I know it's agony but I hope these two weeks fly by for you. Do you have things planned to help distract you? Don't forget to rest up, drink LOTS of water, and remember to breathe Best of luck to you!! Alice x
I thought I'd check in and give an update. I've been managing to keep myself super busy with work and avoided thinking about pregnancy outcome as much as possible.
My nurse rang early with the results.... BFP!
They were right... it only takes one.

Uhh, question for anyone who's used puregon or any other injection? It's in a cartridge of 600 IU. I've used 150 IU four times now.. you'd think it'd be empty, yes? It has a bit left. Is it like food where they over-fill it, to be sure? It's a little late to be calling the nurse tonight, but I'll call tomorrow unless someone here can ease my mind.. Thanks in advance!
Frugal ~ thanks anyway darlz. Geez that must be tuff doing the shopping and cooking. Hope everything is ok with your DH! Yes they do overfill them - hopefully you get this and that eases your mind. Start a fresh one for your next injection.

AFM ~ still scared, Ive now got lower back/hip ache - not a good sign when AF due soon. Ive also got a shoulder ache though and I had that last time I had a BFP - so maybe they are good aches FX. I was so tempted to test tonight but I just couldnt bring myself to do it, maybe I can last to see if AF doesnt arrive.
Thank you Loops. I do feel better. I'm sorry I can't help with the signs! (I'm not very useful to you lately! lol) Never had a BFP, and all the signs I thought I had over the last year were in my head. Hang in there. All I can do is for a BFP for you!
