Tami...Yep i had it done at Westmead IVF in Sydney, this is there website WestMead Fertility Centre They are a non profit clinic so this is why they are cheaper and medicare also send them a cheque for just over $2000 from memory. All you need to do is call them and they will point you in the right direaction and send out an information pack. It is strange doing IVF when you have fallen pregnant the normal way and then all of a sudden you are one of those people that you hear stories about that cant have kids. Even tho you already have 4 children the want for another one really hurts when it cant or wont happen. I guess it really makes us understand how those people that cant have a baby really feel cause we are in the same boat even tho we have kids it just the same as them. This is something i wanted so bad so i just jump in feet first cause i wasnt going to wait at what ever cost. I didnt really have the money to be spending on having another baby but if we want something bad enough we always find the money dont we. Each week leading up to my appt i put away $200 so by the time i was finished see the fertility specialist which you have to do and i finished a course of the pill which you also have to do i had saved up all the money and the rest is history.
