Partner wants me to have a termination!!!

Hi everyone,

thanks for your support and checking up on me. well my DP is still adament for me to have a termination I will be 12 weeks this Friday and I'm still in my view of Not wanting to have Termination. I guess looks like i could be a single mum, or he is just going to have to adjust to being a dad again, and its now getting further into the pregnancy so I won't be able to have a termination will I after the 12 week mark ???????.

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure you can get a termination after 12 weeks if that were the path you chose - people sometimes get unfavourable NT scan results at 12 weeks and terminate. I don't know what the 'limit' is, but I believe the further along you are the more invasive it is.

It sounds like you may have made up your mind though. Will you be ok as a single mum? Or do you think there's a chance your DP will come around?

i think is is possible to access abortions in queensland up til 22 weeks gestation, if this was your decision.

Hi loulabelle and to all who are replyed to my posts.

I'm doing well, i'm now 18 weeks along in my pregnancy

. Partner jeff is slowly coming around, he has even come to me with names for our baby. I hadn't pushed the subjevt with him just that I was to far along in the pregnnacy and i was having this baby and its something that we all had to adjust to and left it at that. He even rolled over in his sleep a couple of weeks ago and placed his hand across my belly

and has even had conversations with our nearly 4 year old on what we weould name the baby.

I've had a bit of high blood pressure, and a bladder infection of late but at 13 weeks my nearly 4 year old was taken to hospital with bad asthma and was in for a few days and in the meantime of him and i staying in hospital I had a bleed

and was in hospital my self but all worked out ok in then bleed was not heavy with no pain and the drs and nurses were able to locate a heart beat which was around 140 and i had lost 6 kgs since

Just had to take it easy for a few days/weeks.

So now here we are at 18 weeks and doing well, really *****y and moody but well. Have our 18-20 week scan on the 19th of september - yes going to find out what we having, and my first ante-natal appointment at the hospital on the 29th september, as they were really busy and fully booked to get me in any earlier.

Will let you all know the out come of my upcoming scan. Again thank you all so much for your support you have all been wonderfull and really appreciate your thoughts, support and well wishes.
