Aaaah I have a few...
Most recent is the other day when I made myself a glass of cordial.... With Milk. Instead of Water. Still didn't click until I was about to take a sip and oddly could smell milk...

I think we all must have these moments!
A few weeks ago I lost my wallet...after going from shop to shop after work because I was buying food for the next night when my parents were coming for dinner I got all confused because I couldn't decide which meat to buy etc....I then gave up on the meat and decided to go to the fruit & vege shop where I realised I didn't have my wallet...I thought I must have lost it in my car or left it at work but turns out that I left my wallet on the counter of a butcher shop! I couldn't believe it and stupid me had over $500 in there, along with everything else!
Luckily when I rang the next day as last resort they had it in the safe and it was untouched...how bad is that, I didn't even buy anything there!!
we alternate between cloth and diosposable nappies
well me in daze after being sick sleep deprived went to put DD's DISPOSABLE nappy into teh washing machine, it was almost in there when my DS said um mum thats one for the bin and i said no its not its her good nappy ill wash it. heeh he laughed and said um its a pooh bear one they go in the bin lol we argued for about 2 min i was adament it was cloth lol and in the end he said fine whatever and let me put it in then went and took it out and threw it out and im like where did you find that, taylah taken her nappy off again? lol
poor thing he just shook his head and laughed at me.
then i was making dinner and i kept telling hubby he had to use the real butter not the otehr stuff, but what i thought was real butter was actually a block of cheese lol
I think my best moment has been driving into town to go to the bank to get a bank cheque (so I needed my ATM card, ID etc) then getting to the bank and realising I didn't have my purse which of course contained all my cards and money.....doh! I'd also parked in a multistory car park and had no money to get the car out and no cards to get any money. Luckily DH works in town and I could convince him to get the cheque and bail me out of the car park.
My other dumb ass moment was when I had a tradesperson booked to come and give me a quote for some air conditioning. I had kind of decided I wasn't going to use this guy and was thinking of cancelling it but didn't, and just totally forgot he was coming. So anyway on the morning in question I'd decided to......ahem.....tidy up some downstairs hair which had got a bit unruly on account of the fact that I hadn't seen it for a few weeksI was using one of those creams that you put on the hair and leave for 5-10 minutes then wipe off. Anyway I got half naked and all lathered up when the phone rang.....it's X from airconditioning company here, I've been caught up in traffic and am a bit late but will be there in about 2 minutes......cripes! I think I broke the world record for 'hair removal cream wiping'

lol.. all so funny the things we do!
i almost set our kitchen (newly renovated i might add) on fire, dh was away for the weekend and i had decided to make myself a jacket potato so i put it in the microwave for a minute - wrong i - pushed the 30min button, walked away and totally forgot about it... the potato and microwave caught on fire! the house filled with toxic smoke before i ever noticed!! luckily i realised before the whole thing went up! who new a potato could do so much damage?!? the cupboards were almost ruined from the somke and we had to get a new microwave.. needless to say dh said i needed constant supervision from then on! lol!
Well I have actually done this a few times (more then I would like to admit). We were down town on saturday at the food court getting lunch. I went and ordered mine gave the person a $20 note and then taken my food and sat down and ate it. It wasn't until DH asked for the change so he could get his lunch that I realised i hadn't stayed to get any. Lucky when I went back the man serving me remembered me and had it ready waiting.
I have done this ssooo many times, even asking to get extra money out on eftpos and then forgetting to take the money - just walking off without it.
A few weeks ago I went food shopping first thing in the morning with DD. When we got home, a girlfriend popped in for a cuppa and while sitting on the bar stools I kicked my shoes off. A little while later I noticed DD was clopping about in my shoes.. two different ones.. I looked down... yep, I had worn two totally different shoes to the shops, one wedge and one heel ha ha.. both very comfy and my excuse is well I cant see my feet. I thought maybe the chick in the chemist noticed coz she asked me if I had been suffering insomnia and I thought gee I wonder how she knows LOL![]()

Classic
I have one to add now...I missed my acupuncture appt this morning... looked at the time on the card & thought 'Friday afternoon, that's weird, I could have sworn I made it for Friday morning?'....
Looked at it again just now....I had been looking at Tuesday's appt time, which I cancelled...it was this morning after all.. now I have to wait until Monday![]()
and it said TUESDAY in big letters too....
I came home one day, put down my bag, then five mins later went looking for it. Then another ten mins later i was yelling at Dp cause i thought he'd stolen my bag and hidden it to mess with me. Then another three mins later i was in tears cause i couldn't remember what colour my bag was, or what it looked like.... How i managed to forget what a fire engine red bag looks like is beyond me.
A week or two ago i tried washing the clothes in the sink and putting the plates into the washing machine (thank god i didn't turn the thing on!)
