I still cant feel anything!!!!!!!! I hate being fat
It could be your placenta in the way, not because of your weight. I was around 70kgs when I fell pregnant with DD1 (so not overly fat - just chubby haha) and it still took till 22-24 weeks for me to be able to feel anything because my placenta was at the front.

My placenta is at the front this time round too.

Stumbled across an ad for an online plus size maternity clothing store called Plus Maternity (type it into google, you'll find it).

Their clothes are not bad but on the top half I find quite generous. I have tried on pretty much their whole range - I look unmistakably pregnant and their tops pretty much completely hide that. They just hang and cover everything, front and back. Very, very comfy though.

Yarrawin - do they cover your arse? I hate my butt showing in anything, and for some reason.. maternity tops never seem to cover your arse!

Thanks Yarrawin, handy to know - we all want to at least look pregnant and not fat, lol - I think I mainly have problems finding pants to fit, were their pants okay?

Yep, the cover your arse and the pants are quite comfy! My main issue is pants too - I find most maternity things for the bottom half far, far too rigid and they actually hurt my belly if I can even pull them up far enough in the first place. They all have a sort of scoop cut in the front with a big stretchy panel of material that goes up and over your belly. Deeply unattractive to look at (my DH saw me trying a pair of their shorts on and couldn't stop laughing) but very comfy.

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is going well. The last week has been so stressful. I had the 1 hour GD test and got a high reading. So tomorrow morning I got to have the 2 hour test . I hope I don't have it. I cried when the doctor told me, it been really upsetting me. The midwife said if I have it I have to go under Ob care, I will have to stay in hospital at lease 24 hours once bub is born, bub will have to have 3 or 4 heel pri_ks, and they will induce me on or before the due date. I just want to sleep though the next few days until I find out the results but I got 2 kids to look after. I'm praying I don't have it, I just don't know how to deal with it atm.
    Sorry for wringing.

Yowie - think positive. I know lots of people who tested high for the 1 hour test, but were fine with their 2 hour one. Good luck!

Am thinking of you today, Yowie, and have crossed everything for you! I too know heaps of people who have tested high on the 1 hour test but have been fine with the second one. It's far more accurate seeing as with the first test what you've had to eat and drink during the day can have an effect on the results. Think positive, girl!

Sorry I've been mia for a while. Looking at the computer was actually making me sick

Yowie - fingers crossed that you get a good result from the 2 hr test. I have yet to take any of the GD tests but it can't be far off.

I went bra shopping the other day and found out - not only have I been wearing the wrong size bras but now I'm a 14G. OMG that is huge. I thought I was still a 16DD/E but noooooooo. I'm glad to have gone down in size around the back but omg the cup size. I am only 12 weeks so now I'm wondering what size I will end up.

I have my 12 week NT scan tomorrow so will see Froggie for the 1st time and now I have to keep my fingers crossed that everything shows up fine. My age will factor in heaps here. I will probably have to get another amnio done My youngest turns 2 tomorrow and I can't believe how fast that time has gone. I'm thinking it will go heaps more quickly with this new one to and as this is very DEFINITELY my last one I want to savour this pregnancy but I am just so busy. Any of you others feel like that????

I have a problem with finding pants as well. They all seem to want to sit on my hips but they fall off. I need the grandma pants that sit just under the boobies lol. Unfortunately they are hard to find, but luckily I still have some from my last pg (shorts at least) and I seem to wear lots of leggings.

Oh well better go and see to kids, hope everyone had a great weekend.

Yowie, FX for today's test. As other's have said, I've known a few women who failed the 1 hour but passed the longer one. I'm skipping the 1 hour and going straight to the 2 hour (planning to do it next week) because of my family history. I'm dreading it too...

I did some clothes shopping on Saturday and had some luck with pants. Still no luck with tops though. I need to find something to wear to a Race Day for a friend's Hen's and am starting to think it will be too hard to find something...

    Hi ladies,

A quick question in relation to maternity clothes. I have an idea ticking over in my head and I want some thoughts.

In terms of clothes, what is your wish list? What issues do you have with the clothes that are available? What kind of size range would you like to see? What kinds of cuts in the clothes - ie very loose and just kind of hang, don't show any bump but does cover everything quite nicely or stuff that does actually show a bump and has a bit of an outline to it?

Yarrawin, I'm having trouble with tops - any that have any shape aren't designed to accommodate a big bust (F cup). I have to go up two sizes to get something big enough and then they plunge too low and the shirt doesn't fit anywhere else. I'd really like to be able to get a few tops designed for BF, but it seems I'm more likely to end up with oversized t-shirts. I need to find something to wear to a race day in a month and, having struck out at both plus size maternity stores in Brisbane, all I can think of is to go to the normal plus-size stores and just buy something big enough to fit my belly.

Good luck! A! I'm sure everything will be great! I have mine in4 weeks. Can't wait. I have decided to switch from my ob to the public hossy. The 3k min out of pocket expenses just are not possible right now. I'm wondering if anyone has had any dramas with hossy and bmi's? I think I am overweight not obese. When does it become a problem ?

Thanks hun I think it depends on their bmi limit and whether your in that limit. Another hospital wouldn't take me because of my bmi so I had no choice where to go.
