Only put on 2.7kg for the pregnancy. Same thing happened with Charlotte.
Still a ways away from 3 figures, but gone over my happy number.
Hi. Does anyone mind if I join in here?
Sorry for the quick one, but my new taskmistress is demanding attention (ie a feed and hasn't slept since the last feed)... And apologies for the copy and paste job...
We went to our weekly OB appt on Tuesday morning and within 5 mins of seeing her, the OB was on the phone to the hospital trying to find us a spot on the list for a c/s that afternoon. Bub had turned back to breech and there was nothing down low except fluid, so the OB was concerned that if my waters ruptured, not only would all the fluid gush out at once, but a cord prolapse was highly likely. Given the risks, we were sent home to get our bags and head to the hospital ASAP.
So, Amber Emily Rose was born at 4.07pm on Tuesday, weighing 7lb 5oz (3.32 kg). It was my absolute last preference for her birth and I'm finding the recovery tough, but she's making up for it by feeding well and occasionally even sleeping (just not at the moment)! Both DH & I are completely smitten!![]()
Congratulations on your new bundleand that is a perfect name

Well done on no weight gain A!
That's awesome news Ahurani! and not long to go either... what have you done during your pregnancy to stop weight gain?
Well I lost so much at the start with MS so thats helped alot really
I'm pretty stoked :-) finally jumped on a set of scales and I believe I've only put on 7.7 kgs which is such a great relief. I was thinking at least 12-15. So yes I'm still extremely obese but hey I believe this is the least amount I've put on so far in all three pregnancies :-D
Thats awesome Danielle!
I havent weighed myself for awhile lol. On purpose maybe? Im currently sitting here watching Downsize me eating a chocolate sundae lol
Wooohooo Danielle that is awesome!!!
I'm still under my pre pregnancy weight - by about 800gms... so I'll probably reach that by the time bubs comes.. LOL
Ahurani - whats downsize me? And yummmmooo sundae!! Did you have a cheeseburger with that ?![]()
Its a show on DIscovery Health, a kiwi show lol
Of course I did! lol
Yum sundae's!!!
My weight is still going up! 4kgs off the hundred...should I take bets I'll crack it??? Lol. I have put on 10kgs so doing pretty well compared to last time.
Apparently I have a large baby on board too, on the 92nd percentile, I actually feel smaller than with dd and know growth scans can be way out so am not too concerned. Will wait and see. 7 weeks to go!!
Hello there mamas...
i am joining this thread being on the cuddly end of the spectrum and all.. UTD with no.3 and managed to nab my place in the birth centre at mackay JUST... well i have a few kgs to spare but am under strict instructions to watch my weight, BMI was 31 cut of is 35 - thankfully i am tall! ATM i am 103.3, never did loose the 30kg i put on with DS1 pregnancy, i have been up and down over the last 3 years. Have cut all foods with fructose out - bar fruit - and replaced sugar with dextrose, pure glocose unlike sugar which is half glocuse half fructose, fructose goes through your body undetected so far i have lost 2.5kg in a fortnight.... slacked off on exerices I am soooo tired but my pants around the thighs are baggier than last week so must still be losing YAY
Danielle_NZ i was told by a child health nurse that i must of had undiagnosed gd with both my previous pregnacys, i do big babies BUT my mum had big babies and she was only 45kg... um mrs child health nurse ever heard of genetics... silly cow!
Must make a start on dinner while the toddler sleeps!
I have a woo hoo post and a boo hoo
I finally jumped on a set of scales end of last week and I'm 133.7 kgs :-( which is almost 2kgs heavier than my last full term pregnancy weight, however... Last time I put on 21.1 kgs and this time so far only 7.7 kgs which is my woo hoo!
I've decided that once baby arrives and my wound is healed I will be putting myself first in the weight loss front. I WILL be under 100kgs by Christmas. NOTHING will stop me!!!!
