to all suffering as well! I'm a hip pain sufferer too! I'm almost 21 weeks and I'm in agony. Same thing, lying on my side in bed kills me and I've woken in tears a few times. I went to Chiro on weekend and he suggested padding my bed up with either a foam underlay or layers of doona's, sleeping bags etc, but I tried this and it still hurts. I did need an adjustment as my hips were out, and have another appointment next week, so will find out then if anything changes. But the simple fact is I cannot sleep on sides and cannot sleep on back - so I turn all night, which is getting increasingly harder as my waist increasingly expands. I will try one of those body pillows suggested - the Leachco Back & Belly pillows. Does this actually prevent your hip from touching the bed?? I think that is my only option.
I also heard taking fish oil supplements helps, but I have been taking for 2 weeks to no avail.
I literally cannot sleep, and it doesn't sound as though I'm going to be able to before the baby is due. By the time it arrives I will be a mess!
