Everyone's experience with induction will be different - just as no two pg's or births are the same, no two induced births are the same too. You still have quite a bit of time up your sleeve (at least 10days) if you want thing to happen naturally. I know it is hard when you get to your due date and you spend each day after that waiting and wishing the show would just get on the road, but it is so worth it to wait until your baby choses it's birthdate.
My only induced birth wasn't the most pleasant birth - I had quite a few problems stemming from the syncto induction and it's something that I never wished to have happen again. Being taken to theatre because i was haemorraging due to a retained placenta and having it removed manually with a Dr's hand inside my uterus isn't something that I planned on happening - all I can say is thank god I was under a General anaesthetic. But this was just my experience with induction and maybe I was just unlucky.
