Darling heart I am so so so sorry...

At such an early stage it is near impossible to identify the embryo - he or she would have been very very tiny - what is passed is called "products of conception" by the medical profession. This rather cold and confronting title is used to cover what is passed after a loss. Usually this early it is a heavier clotier bleed than a period. The clots are caused when the blood flow to the pregnancy ceases and this is why you get the clots. Monitor your loss - expect quite a heavy bleed but soaking pads frequently needs to be asessed at a hospital. Use analgesics - mersyndol is often good, heat packs. I hope yu have loving arms to hold you darling Mama... I am here this evening if you need support.

    Fly safely little one...

cherished, I'm so so so sorry I wish I could help you on the embryo but I was much earlier and was driving between Sydney and Melbourne while I mc'ed so I didn't have the opportunity to see what was passed. I felt large clumps coming out but suspect that at such an early stage (5 weeks) there was not really much to see for me. Take care, take time out. I hope your results are not what you suspect but I also understand that you know your body.

Flowerchild, I can't possibly hold back my tears when reading your message... You are so lovely and thank you so much. I have spared the gory details in my post as I don't want to upset anyone. I pray to God I am wrong with what I saw and the scan tomorrow shows me some good news.

Smallfryplus beautiful thank you for sharing your experience.... I kinda know my body but I have never seen a mc so I don't 'really' know what I was looking at..... I just hope I am wrong!

I am going to call it a night and will be back after lunch tomorrow to let you all know what my HCG test said and the scan.

Thanks Flowerchild, dh and I have said that we will go into the scan being positive and accept whatever we find and than recreate again after we grieve if it is the worst. If it is the positive we will celebrate. I am certainly in the land of thankfulness with you Flowerchild... My dh is the best man in the world and my BB friends have without a doubt blown me away with caring about me so much and their support... Good night everyone xox

I have just gone through a natural miscarriage at 6 weeks and 2 days and with out going into all the details, it felt as though something had fallen from inside of me.
Im not sure what else i can say that has not already been said by the other ladies here, but just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and tiger, i do wish u all the best and i send heaps of sticky vibes your way.

cherished! Just got your message Im here! I dont know how to get onto stupid chat it wont let me!!

I just read the posts, Im so sorry hon I don't know what to say I cant belive this is happening to you again

As for the products of conception, I didnt lok too hard because i was not mentally in a good frame of mind...but i do remember passing something greyish like the bubble of a blue bottle but blue/grey and it was between the size of a 5-10c piece. I didnt have alot of clotting with mine. no more than a normal period anyway. But the bleeding was just like a heavy period too. I was so out of it with the tablets they gave me to "pass it" with nausea and dizzyness that i just cried myself to sleep and wanted to ingore it all happening over night.. so in the morning it would be a "fresh" day and i could say goodbye.

Please dont heistate to call me on the numbers i gave you. I hope you both are ok and by some stroke of faith the scan shows something different.

you can add me on msn? if you want to talk still..lissyb62@hotmail.com

everyone else can here too if you like x

    thinking of you xx

Cherished I am so sorry... knowing what you are going through also makes me realise how powerless I am to help, I can only say how much I am thinking of you and that I am sending you all the stickyvibes in the world. Good luck for tomorrow, in the meantime I hope you are finding comfort however you can.

    Unhappy

Thanks girls and coco I just went to bed so no harm done honey

Thanks to everyone for their description.... I know it sounds horrible me wanting to know the details but for some reason my brain needs to know what it saw and I pretty much have an answer now based on others experiences.

My temp is back down to 36.7 I don't even feel like I want to go to the scan.... It's like rubbing salt into the wound!) I'm also bleeding heavy like a normal period now...... Far out, back where I started but with 7 more kilos of weight (just to rub it in further) I have even convinced myself that I don't want a baby now (not for ages anyway) even though it was a dream of our for the past 3 years.... God I am so lost.....

Thanks again girls, I will be back later to let you all know what happened.

Oh cherished huni, i just want to hold u tight and tell you it will all be ok.
When i lost my angel baby, i didnt want to believe that it was happening again, i even reached into the toilet just to hold it, just to have said i held my baby in my hands, i know thats sounds silly, and a little gross, and all it was, was just a big clot.

I wish u all the best at your ultrasound, and i pray that this is just a hurdle and tiger is tucked in safe.

My thought are with you hun.

cherished, your strength is astounding. To think you have managed to work like this for so long already. My hat is off to you and I'm incredibly proud of you. I know you can do it, take it moment by moment and allow yourself to explore the feelings you have.

I have been off this site for a long time coping with my loss last year and I have been lurking - usually crying or laughing along with everyone but too fragile to write. After reading your post Cherished I caved.
Cherished - I am so very sorry and I am sending you love and strength at 1.30 - I understand wanting to know everything you can and trying to make sense of it all.

I hope you have wonderful, loving people around you.

Cherished1- I'm sorry you have to be at work is it not possible to take some time off or are you just trying to keep your mind busy? Thinking of you, I know what you are going through is all too familiar for all of us. Good luck with the scan.

Anila- I'm with you, a/f definitely on the way, temp dropped this morning. Now all I can hope is that I ovulate next cycle or it could be months before I can try again.
