Mum2romone - I was lucky in the sense that my body was back to normal immediately. Cycles were normal straight away, always on time, nothing weird going on. Although we weren't ttc right away (we waited over 2 years to even consider it) so it seems like kind of a waste of such predictable lovely cycles. Everyone is so different though, that's the problem. I can't tell you what your body is going to do, but I'm pretty sure we all know what we WANT it to do!! Good luck, hun.
Reet - Hehe you sound like me with the hosuework dodging! We just got austar installed today so as you can imagine I'm channel surfing like a pro.... and that's about it. Try not to worry about your family and their holiday plans, I'm sure they can change it, and would gladly do so for such a happy occasion! I'm seeing my dr in 4 weeks time after my 20wk scan. The hospital is meant to call me I assume to tell me to come in and fill out forms etc. And tell me if I got into the birth centre or if I'll have to be in the regular labour ward. Exciting times.
Melster - I pm'd mum22 but haven't heard, i'm having a mini-freakout.... I hope she's ok. Enjoy your nudie runs and loud bd without the step kiddies there. Or skids. LOL..
Clairesmummy - Yeah, when he asked me to pee in a cup I knew what he was checking for and started to worry. Lucky for DP he was blissfully unaware and happily chatting away with the dr. Anyway, I trust my dr so like you said if he isn't worried then neither am I. I'm anxious to have my bp taken again though..... is there anywhere else you can get your bp checked?? just curious.
AFM - I had a dream that I gave birth last night! It was very graphic so I won't go too much into detail.... but the weird part was that it didn't really hurt at all, and I did it by myself, at home. It was all very casual, lol. I was thinking 'I need to push' so I pushed, and there was a baby. I distinctly remember how warm he was when I picked him up. It was an odd sensation! And it was a boy this time. My crazy subconscious can't make up its mind... lol.
Whens the last time anyones spoken to mum22??? it was last week wasnt it???
Forshelby....it will just be nice to not have the skids there, so we can do what we want when we want....(well apart from my daughter...but grandma is looking after her one night while we are at the hotel....hopefully for that whole week i will be relaxed and refreshed and loving the alone time with hubby..and im hoping it will help my mood and help ovulation) What a dream....when you're pregnant the dreams become so vivid dont they...
Melster - I think it's been more like 2 weeks since I last spoke to her. I could be wrong though.
Sounds like a great plan for O time you've got there. Yay! I find I've always been a vivid dreamer, but this one was just different, I think because it was about the baby.
I heard from her last Friday before my scan but not after that. Hope she is okay - we miss you in here mum22 come back soon! Hope you and bubs are good
Mum2Romone - i hope AF comes back for you soon and your cycles are okay. Mine were alot earlier so its didn't take too long. My friend lost her twins at 12 weeks and it took a few months for her body to be back to normal. Im so sorry for your loss
ForShelby - what a cool dream if only birth was pain free like that haha. I can see you with a little boy maybe your dream will come true!
My BP was always high as the doctors and better at home. Im hoping its better that it was with DD though i can see it being high at my first appointment
Clairemummy hope you having fun in your BD bonanza and that sausage is sizzling LOL
Melster enjoy your relaxing time away and hope you have a great time. Sound like perfect timing to make a bubba
Reet - did you tell your parents yet they will be so excited for you i bet.
I so can not be bothered doing housework i always think ill do it tommorow
A few people have guessed at work so guess the cat is out of the bag - i must have it written on my forehead this week
My scan is the 19th of october i cant wait only 20 sleeps to go!
Kellie - I always thought I'd have a little girl, but honestly, I don't mind one bit if I have a boy. I just want a healthy baby! And it would be soooo cute having a little version of DP running around. Good luck for your scan, and don't you hate it when people guess??
AFM - Geeeez it's quiet in here! What's up with that?? I had a bit of a moment yesterday, cried over a cute video of my friend's baby tasting some apple, and then I cried because of an atm fee...... DP was like 'why are you crying??' I said I didn't know, and he told me to just have a good cry if I wanted to. LOL... how embarrassment!!
Yeah it is very quiet on here....im used to coming on here when i am bored at work and reading all the replies.....were is everyone??????...its a good thing though, because alot of people are pregnant!!!!!!
Kellbell..with my daugher i had to tell everyone at 9weeks because i just couldnt hide my belly anymore, it was truely massive...everyone was talking about it and guessed already...with my miscarriage i was smaller and could hide it and didnt have as many symptoms....thats why i think i was wondering with that pregnancy
Forshelby..dont you love those hormones and what they do to you!!!! Its totally normal so dont be embarrased.
ATM...i have a headache!!!! had to take panadol and im sitting at work not wanting to be here, but not wanting to be home with the loud skids either..bring ON saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im trying my hardest not to be stressing and angry so i dont delay the big "o" but i'm not sure its working...My body knows im pretending LOL.................although when i think of the kids not being there, and the nice warm spa and pool and romantic dinners at hotel it makes me and we have a wine tour on weekend, so it should be really good....hubby gave me a massage last night to see if that would help..it did a little but im still moody
Melster - I feel your pain, I'm soooo over headaches it's not even funny. At least my house is usually quiet so I can relax and try to get rid of it. Good luck for O time... not too far away now!
Good Morning Ladies, hope everyone in here is well and safe, I must agree with you Forshelby and Melster it is soooo quiet in here it's scary, it's a bit like the calm before the storm....lol....nah only kidding....oh maybe it is the calm before we all get our BFP storm....lol...here's hoping anyhow......
Forshelby- Love that your bub is now the size of an avocado how cute is that, when you go shopping do you ever pick up the peice of fruit that your ticker has on it and just look at it and think wow that's how big my bub is this week? Cause that's something I would be doing every week. LOL......Don't be embarassed about crying darl most of us go through it, just let em out darl. Hope your headaches are getting better darl, darn hormones have alot to answer for darl.
Melster- Nothing worse than headaches I suffer with them all the time, a good relaxing hot bath does the trick for me, but I'm guessing you son't have that at work....lol.....hope you have a great week end away and don't get to wiped out with all that wine tasting.....lol......
AFM- Well I'm not 100% sure but I'm thinking it's O day for me today maybe......had my temp dip this morning as I always do the day I'm going to O so we shall see, had my +ive OPKs on CD12 they were all -ive yesterday will be doing a couple more today just to check though. So I'm at CD14 today and hopefully about to O like today please and hopefully AF in another 14 days would be great, but hey I'm not counting on that at all going on my past cycles. But ahhh well here's to trying, we started DTD on CD9 this cycle and have been keeping it going at least every 2nd night, I'm not expecting a BFP at the end of this cycle at all, I'm expecting either more testing from my DR or being put on some type of medication.
Clairesmummy..it would be fantastic if you got pregnant this month and wasnt expecting it...you wouldnt have all the stress associating with testing and expecting etc....they always say it happens when you're not trying!!!
I think my headache might be from stress, coz my jaw and teeth are really sore from clenching all the time lately...hubby wanted me to wear his mouth guard for his sports....yuck LOL....
When i didnt have my period i rubbed my belly and said AF was allowed to come and i was ready and it did...so now i am telling myself and my belly..this is the month for pregnancy....so hopefully if i believe it and , it will happen....i will start using the digi opk on the weekend....so heres to o'ing...and baby making....hopefully were not to drunk from the wine tour LOL....
Clairesmummy - Yeah! Hoping for a BFP storm. I do look at the pieces of fruit each week, lol. I was thinking our little dog's head is just a little bit bigger than an avocado.... haha. I hate DP seeing me crying over nothing though, it makes me feel like a bit of a fool, not that he in any way does anything to make me feel like that. I just feel stupid afterwards when I realise it was over nothing. The headaches seem better, a bit less frequent and they pass without having to take panadol so that's good. I hear DTD every second night gives you a better shot than every night, so I reckon stick with that. When do you see your dr again?? was it CD19? Wouldn't it be great to get a sneaky bfp this cycle... hehe.
Melster - I hate that saying.... but it did happen for me when I wasn't trying the first time. DP was under the impression he couldn't have kids, due to a serious barbed-wire fence and winkie incident when he was little. The drs seemed to think that anyway. It's weird though, the month I got UTD I said 'I think I should go on bcp just in case.... I shouldn't just assume it's all ok and we're safe'. AND BLAMO. I was pg. I was young, and stupid. Well, I'm still young. So we'll say younger... lol. Enjoy your wine tour, belly rubbing (belly to belly I hope... LOL) and FX this is your month!
AFM - I am not cut out for babysitting today. It's really challenging when the older one gets all bossy and hogs the games.... especially when the little one is so placid and just gets walked all over and has NO fun. It would actually be easier if they would fight, at least the little one would stick up for himself and maybe get some game-time. I've been telling the older one all day. Share. Let him choose a game. Let him have a go. You don't need to tell him what to do all the time, just let him have fun. Stop hogging it. ARRRGHHHHH. I would turn it off, but then that isn't fair to the little one who's being good. I'm about to go in there and comandeer the machine and say 'THIS IS THE GAME YOU'RE PLAYING.' then hand the controller to the little one and say 'you have 20 minutes'.
Forshelby- It does make you feel a little foolish I totally understand where you are coming from darl, as I told you I was a mess big time when PG with my DD......I think it's pretty funny though looking back at it NOW but it took me a couple of years to see the funny side of being a blubbering mess over absolutely who knows what. Best to let it out though than keep it in. Yep DRs appointment is on CD19 which is this Tuesday coming and get the results from them on the Friday......the wait will kill me though....And yes it would be fabulous to get a sneaky BFP come back in my BTs, I would be ecstatic darl. But like I said I'm not even thinking about TTC this month just concentrating on CD19 for BT then getting my results. It's helping me so much atm having my MIL,FIL and all the kids here staying with us for the next 10days it's well and truly keeping my mind off of everything, I'm loving it. Wish they could be here when I'm going through the 2WW........lol.....but ah well I can't have everything.....Great to hear your headaches are not hanging around and making you feel horrible and I can't believe how quick time is going for you, and before I forget how's the book coming along, I hope you have started writing one I need a good book to read. Take care darl and chat to you soon.
Well im off home soon, so i hope you ladies have a wonderful weekend....ill come and spy on my phone over the weekend....
Ill let you know how the bdance is going!!!!!! apparently i might o late next week, so even tho were staying at the hotel sun-tue at least we will get lots of practise and maybe some will hang around in there.....but if not we hopefully dont have the kids all week so we can keep practising...
i am for o at the moment......i need o vibes!!!!!!!!!! and then catch the eggie vibes........ITS GOING TO HAPPEN ITS GOING TO HAPPEN ITS GOING TO HAPPEN ITS GOING TO HAPPEN ITS GOING TO HAPPEN THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clairesmummy..good luck with you're dr's appointment next week, and i hope you find some answer...
Clairesmummy - I find when I get all blubbery I laugh hysterically at the same time, because I know I'm being crazy. LOL. You must have a great family, enjoying their company so much. Me I just like my own space. I haven't started any books yet hehehe. I never would know what to write about so I just don't ever start. It would be nice if inspiration struck though one day!
Melster - Good luck! I'll just say what the guy in all the Adam Sandler movies says. "YOU CAN DO IT!" lol.
They are pretty good, all the kids get to me we have 5 in total here at the moment and I find myself wishing that I could run away and hide for some peace and quiet. So I also really enjoy my ME time, not that I have had much of that the last couple of weeks with DD being at home with me 24/7 and unable to go to kindy....lol.....even an hour to myself is great from time to time. That's why I love going riding on my horse it's just me and my horse and nothing but stillness and tranquility. OOhhhh I so wanna go for a ride right now.......
Melster is DEF GOING TO HAPPEN sending truckloads of laying your egg vibes and sticky vibes
have a great time
i agree with Forshelby you can do it!!!!!!!
Still no sign of mum22??? theres still activity on her profile everyday so she must just be wanting a break im thinking..
Melster- Have a fantastic time away.. it sounds so nice! Am thinking i might organise a weekend away for dh and myself soon too.. spabaths.. relaxing.. mmm sounds lovely!
Clairesmummy- Woohoo for the upcoming cd19! Not long to go now.. but im hoping u get a sneaky bfp too
Forshelby- Hope u ended up telling the older kid whos boss and to stop being bossy! The younger one in a couple of yrs will be so sick of being walked all over he will end up becoming a big bully..or maybe just someone that doesnt have much confidence. Whos kids are they?? The lady from work??
And aaawww for being all hormonal.. im not a crier normally..my dh wldnt know what was going on if i cried over nothing!! I have found myself crying over silly things but im normally at home by myself thank goodness!
Kell- Not long to go now.. i cant wait til the 12 wk mark is here either! How are ppl guessing at work?? Hows ur tummy going?? Are u showing yet??
Hi to everyone else too!
AFM- Well we have told our immediate family.. ofcourse everyone was like 'oh i was thinking u were because of .........' they all had their reasons haha.. love it how everyone says they already knew but they didnt actually just come out and ask. Our families are all very excited about it.. and im really glad we have waited this long to tell them.. as soon as i told my mum she cldnt help herself she had to ring my auntie and uncle.. and same with my dad, he had to call his bestfriend to tell him too.. and im sure my sisters have told their friends as well! I did say we still want to wait another week or 2 for everyone to find out but im not sure if thats going to happen!
I am TRYING to start a bit of a healthy eating/exercise plan.. i am getting fat! Even my mum commented yesterday that my thighs are growing a bit! haha and mummies dont lie! I have been eating a lot of crap.. this baby LOVES chips and gravy and a lot of takeaway food.. and it also doesnt like me working too hard.. so ive been laying down and relaxing alot... not good! I was absolutely craving a wendys hotdog today with lots of cheese and bbq sauce..mmmmmm... i have made a deal with myself tho.. takeaway once a week.. so ive just gotta figure out what my main big craving is at the end of each week and go for it! Lets see if it works!
Hi all just a quick post, sorry I have been MIA I have just been a wee bit emotional. Bleeding continuing, bubs HB dropped from 138 to 112 then back to 160 and more bleeding more visits to obst who scans me it just seems to be never ending stressful. As a result I havent been coming on here much (trying to make myself think of other things). I have popped out big time and cant even tell anyone....IYKIM so I am constantly trying to hide the bump rather than be excited and proud about it (which inside I am sorta excited but scared IYKWIM).
Congrats to all the girls with good scan results.
Congrats to Dory on her baby girl. I will be lurking for the next few just waiting for Dory's birth story or similar when she comes back on here.
Love to all.
