After being induced at 10 o'clock this morning, Amy and Michael (and Declan) have welcomed a baby girl into the world. No details yet (sorry my hubby - Amy's brother answered the phone while I was busy with Declan and my daughters) except that she is as purple as a grape Trying to call my MIL now for more details - will fill you all in once I know

More info - Bubby's been taken to the nursery to have some oxygen and heat, dr's think that Amy probably wasn't quite 36 weeks (thought she was 36 1/2 weeks), but she's doing well and her colour is now quite pink. She has a full head of black hair. Amy's really tired, but doing well. I will probably be going up to visit her after dinner, Declan's not allowed to go up until tomorrow night because he has an upper respiratory infection and has to be on antibiotics for 24 hours before he's allowed to see bubby.
