that perfectly describes the Croup cough Sherie - it is very distinctive

Um, he was prescribed something penicillin based - amoxyl?? ( i know the spelling is way off )

    Hi everyone,

Abs - sorry to hear that Jordy has croup, I hope he gets better soon!

Theresa - I hope everything goes well with Em's appointment!

Sooz - good to hear that your house has sold, where in Perth will you be moving too??

Not much news for me, the little man has a cold and is having real trouble breathing, he is still quite happy though!!

I am off to gymbaroo this afternoon, Tyron just loves it!

Hi to everyone else, sorry someone has just decided to make his appearance for the day so better go and get him ready!!

    Hi all,

great to read that things are going well, though not so good for those with croup.
Caden is eyeing off food and loves propelling himself places on his back, not able to do much on his tummy yet but loves to look around during tummy time. He isn't a great fan of it and starts to complain after a while, when he gets grumpy on his tummy he then starts trying to roll.
He is also definitely eyeing off our food, makes me feel a little guilty for eating in front of him but we are hoping to wait until he is 6mths before we start solids seeing as the BF'ing is going so well.
DH has started back at work and I hate it. He is away for 7+ days at a time and it isn't much fun dealing with a baby 24/7 without anyone to give you a break, can't imagine how people do it by themselves and with more than one child!
Anyone got any advice on the sleeping thing? Caden has gone from sleeping 930 - 6 to 1030pm until 4am. Can't work out why he has gone backwards after doing so well? Thought I might try and put him down earlier and see what happens.. maybe after his 8pm feed... rather than waiting and feeding at 10pm as well??? any suggestions????? We have a great night time routine which means that when I put him down he goes straight to sleep but for some reason he has stopped sleeping through. Nothing will settle him at 4am except for a feed?
    anyway gotta go, Caden's calling!
