I'll try cold things. Perhaps just making mince and veg will be ok. Argh I'm so lost at this. How about lentil and rice dishes. Anyone got any sure-thing recipes? Her father is a veghead (meant to be an insult, I'll explain his reasons later). So she eats chickpeas and things at his place.

Thanks Kel. How is Jem feeling tonight? Oh I hope her ears are better soon. Thankfully DD has never had an ear infection. 2 months ago though she had conjunctivitis and a rattly chest. Ointment/drops/saline for eyes, a/b for chest. Chest took a while to clear up, eyes better by the end of a/b. I knew the a/b would fix the eyes and do nothing for chest. Feel better Jemmi!

    Hi everyone
I had a great weekend away visiting my family... but I have to admit it is nice being back home again in my own bed with my own things here... managing a diet is a PITA when you're not at home!
Foods - Harrison eats whatever we're eating, but if I am adding something like chilli, I take out a serve for him before the chilli is added. As snacks, he loves vegie sticks dipped in a cauliflower and fetta dip I make... it is yummo. He also eats cous cous (having it tonight actually) with vegies. He does have his moments with vegies though, but I find changing the way I cook them can make a huge difference. For example, one day he might hate steamed pumpkin, but eat loads of it the next day when it is baked.

Well, I'm off to the shops now to pick up a few more things for dinner.
I will try to do personals soon. I hope all the not-so-well bubba's are feeling better.

I've made these chicken and vege pastries for dinner tonight. Oh i hope she likes them. I've felt her 8th tooth bump and I felt a tiny tiny sharp bit. Looks like its cutting today or tomorrow. So if she won't eat, that could be why.

Thanks for letting me know what your kids eat. Its a pain cooking for one, and harder when she won't eat what I'm eating.

When is Michelle coming back? Where is she? And what happened to Ryn?

All these bubba's with huge amounts of teeth!!! Harrison is still breaking #3 through! lol
It's never stopped him from eating everything in sight, unless they're too sore, but having none was never a problem.
Yeah I have seen Ryn around the boards too but not in here. I hope she's ok.
I was just looking at ninemsn and there has been a tornado through the area that Jayne is in... I hope her family didn't suffer any damage and are just one of the homes without power.

LISA _ I'm here, just been MIA while Alan is home. Helping him build the bunny hutches & doing family stuff. Loads of homes got damaged, but thankfully not ours. Not even any in our estate. We are not far from the beach, but it was the houses closest to the beach that got hit. How are you going with the diet? did you say they blood test you on a monthly basis? Geepers, it's like living in a boot camp! LOL. I'm sure it's workign though & you're probably feeling fantastic now that you're used to the portion sizes & the recipes again. I can't believe what a gummy bear Harry is! It's amazing! He obviously was too busy lining up in the curly hair department & not so much in the teeth department!

KEL _ HOw is Jem's ears? Hope they are better now. Claudy has just had her 1st ear infection for the winter as well. Was meant to take her back to the Dr today to get it checked, but I know she is ok, so will leave it be. She finishes the last of the AB's tonight. Yep, sorry, have to pick my bunnies up from the aiport, so I won't be at your party, but I will order up big when you are over. I want a modular mates set, the one I want is nearly $200. Have to order that when Alan not here! LOL. I have totally fooled him on the price of the bunnies too. Well not the price, but the freight.

PEG _ Hope that Flutterby ate up all those vege rolls that you made. They sound delicious. I sometime just boil some plain pasta for my 2 when they are being fussy. No sauce, sometimes some melted cheese on top & they love it. My kids also will eat a few squares of cheese, ham, cucumber & things like that when they are having bad food days. Claudy has been fussy for a while, but most of her fusiness is because the food is wet, cold, slimy or messy & she is a snob, so she will prefer to go without & also eating off mummy's fork is NOT COOL so she will not even try it. She spoon feeds herself yoghurt & I HATE it, it ends up everywhere, but if I try & do the spoon she has a tanty & won't eat anymore. She is a major PITA when she wants to be.

KRISTY _ Where you baby-bumper? Alan flies out tonight, so I am free for a playdate one day next week? Thursday?

ME _ Alan has been home for 10 days. He flies out again tonight. Has been great having him home, despite Claudy's disgust at having him here. She is really on a vendetta against him. She will walk past him now & give him a kiss because she knows he'll stop bugging her once she's given him a kiss. This is a major breakthrough, before that she wouldn't even look in his direction. Claudy's ears are much better but Jess woke this morning with a disgusting cough, so I hope now that Claudy is better that Jess isn't going to get sick. WE have been busy building the rabbit hutch, can't wait to have the bunnies inside!!!

    Love Jayne xox

Hiya Jayne! Glad to hear you and your family are okay. DH still hasn't called his brother to see how he is.
    My diet is going ok... had a few drama's over the weekend, but all is okay now. I don't weigh myself for another week or so but I did my measurements on Friday and I have lost a total of 30 cms off my body;
    Arms - The same
    Bust/Chest - lost 3cms
    Waist - lost 7cms
    Hips - lost 14cms
    Thighs - 6cms
    Total - 30cms!!!!
I am thrilled to bits with this... but going away over the weekend would have set me back a few days I think... I didn't exactly eat to the plan whilst away.
I get a blood test done at 4 weeks, then another at 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 18 weeks and 20 weeks. So my 4 week one is on June 24.

Yeah I've heard that it can take a while to lose from the hips.
I have a fat butt so I have plenty to lose there! lol
I have had a few bad days, so I am taking a full day off my diet today. I have just been feeling down and miserable... hard to find my motivation... I am going to go to the library and check out some self help books for inspiration, and maybe book in to see a psychologist.
On a lighter note... the kids and I are going Wolverine hunting this afternoon. Hugh Jackman is filming Wolverine at a local beach... Jamie is a HUGE Xmen fan so we're gonna see if we can meet him and maybe get a pic.

    OMG what an awesome photo!!!

Congrats Lisa on losing the weight! I'm just not in the mood to watch what I eat and exercise more. Feeling slight depression coming on. Going to detail it in boohoo room.

DD has 8 teeth now, got latest one on Tuesday. Oh god I hope there's no more teeth coming for a while.
