Hi all,
Lisa: I was a bit worried, especially when they wanted me to have the biopsy straight away. VERY glad all is ok though. WOW for your weight loss good on you and WOW to Harrison's varied menu,
Quinn is still eating the basics, Pumpkin, Avocado, Green beans, baby millet cereal, zucchini...he doesn't really like the fruit, gives him a sore tummy.
Kym: it's possible that the yoghurt is causing the screaming, some of the "they" say you should leave anything cow's milk based until 9 months...but this isn't the case for all babies. Also banana is fairly acidic. Sometimes it's so hard to tell what causes the issues when the babies are having them. Quinn was fairly colicky when he was about 3 months and I went crazy eliminating things in my own diet and none of it changed it at all. Sometimes they just have an immature gut.
Catherine: I feel for you!!! I had those same awful anxious feelings a few weeks ago, as a result I have joined a post natal exercise class and also have a massage once a week (a complete luxury) it is a good idea to talk to someone about it, it's one of the worst feelings you can have!!!!!!!! HAving a baby with relfux is soooo stressful! I agree with Kym, maybe you need to get a second opinion. It's torture having to listen to your baby cry in pain like that!
Kel: Quinn doesn't sit up on his own but if I sit on the floor with him he sits in between my legs and he loves to sit up and play with his toys like that. he will pull himself up to standing if I hold his hands, but doesn't pull himself up on his own. Not like super standing baby Pubert A friend of mine has plastic maracas and they seem better from an eat the paint of point of view although the sound isn't as nice. I also have another friend who has bells on a stick for her little girl and she loves that! Musical toys are great.
Anyway, I'm so tired Quinn has been waking up at about 5am screaming and screaming and screaming and nothing seems to calm him down, I just have to hold him tight and rock him till he calms down (which can take about 20 minutes) and then I can feed him and he seems ok after that. I just don't know what it could be. possibly teeth because he has ANOTHER one almost through (bottom right).
