    Hi,
Danda & JJ -- IKWYM about feeling housebound too. I call it groundhog day!! Thurs/frid aren't so bad as I get out for kinder and help with fruit duty occaisionally. DD is more settled at home and loves her cot so I am reluctant to disrupt her too much.

Ash/Prama -- I too have PND for the third time. I recognised my symptoms and got back ion my tablets when DD was 3 weeks old. I feel almost like my old self again. You guys will too. Hugs

Jen -- that must have been so scary with DD I would have freaked too. Hopefully she won't remember how to do that when she is 2 it would be a doozy of a tantrum if she did. lol

    Minky -- Noah is gorgeous!!!

HAVE A SAFE TRIP PRAMA! HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!!!

    Hi back again,

The Toyworld trip was fun. DS1 knew exactly what he wanted and was ready to come home after 2 minutes. DS2 had no idea what he wanted and then when i thought he had decided what he wanted he changed his mind. Got to love it.
We ended up with some Indiana Jones Lego for DS1 and Arry & Bert trains from Thomas for DS2.

I have survived the first week of Kinder run on my own. I have been very spoilt as my inlaws were coming around in the mornings so I could just take DS1 to kinder & come home and not worry about waking DD if she was asleep. It has gone well DD was awake both mornings but did fall asleep in the car a couple of times. I do have a sore back though from getting them in and out of the car lol.

Not much eelse is happening DD not quite rolling and still laughing and talking so cute.
    Have a good weekend everyone.
Jacki -- is DS sleeping a bit better for you during the day??

sue - sorry to hear about PND. it didnt quite strike me that you could have it multiple times. but i did think if/when we ahve another baby, i'll be more wary and let the midwives know. thanks for the kind wishes. almost all packed. last lot of clothes in the dryer. stupid machine was acting up all day, today of all day.

somedays i find i need to get out of the house, and somedays i want to just be at home and spend quality time with poopy. but hwne i do, i just get soo tired and cant give him 100% attention. then i feel bad when i go out cos he's in the car and not doing much.. sigh

i think we're all packed now.. bottles etc to sort out and we should be ok. except poopy is still asleep and my boobs hurt!

poopy is all better from his needles, he had fever and was so unhimself.
poopy is back to his normal self, but he;s had a few changes this week. i feel like he's grown up a bit, im a bit sad.
he's being cheeky and fighting sleep.
he's starting to want to grab things more and has better hand-eye control, and depth perception.
his talk has changed a little.

and the good news is that he rolled for the first time yesterday!!! i was so excited. he did it at MIL's sofa. we were chatting andhe was in middle of the sofa and i was saying he hasnt started rolling yet. then mum said he's moving his hip and leg like he's trying to roll. and i said nver seen him do that. he kept doing that for a bit, then mum went to take her cat out of his room. while she was doing that, he turned to his side and then rolled to his tummy! hooray!
he seems like a different baby this week. i can see his growing up and not the same itty bitty baby..

ok girls. im flying out today. take care girls. lol.. i'll still be online tomorrow but feels like im going away and not being able to be in touch.

    Bon voyage Prama and Lakshman

Sue - Luke has been sleeping better during the day but I have been leaving his dummy in - so I guess that is why he is able to get to the next sleep cycle. However I think it has made his night time sleeps not so good and he is waking more !!! Arrgghhh can't win. So think will have to stop the dummy during the day and see how it goes.

DS has been a bit sniffly and coughing so have put off getting his needles. Doesn't seem to be getting any worse and no fever so needles next week.

Carley- I have been wondering about you. So good to hear Lysander is doing much better. And, there is nothing wrong with FF. You do what is best for you and him.

Hey Carley, yeah you've jumped back in, we've missed you in here! You sounded quite upset and distressed last time you posted (and rightly so) - I am so glad to hear Lysander is doing so well. I know what you mean about them wanting 100% of your attention when they are awake - I find it really exhausting ! I am going out today to get a Jolly Jumper so that at least I can be in the kitchen and DS can be near me and watch me so I don't have to spend the entire day on the loungeroom floor with him Emily must be a great help.

Hi Carley, it is good to see you here again! I had been wondering how you were going. There is absolutely nothing wrong with FF, and it seems to be working - what a big healthy boy! Your DD sounds like a little angel too. I am glad to hear the medication is working and you are finally having an easier time of it! They sure are hard work, these little guys.

jacki - you will love the jolly jumper. DD can entertain herself in it for ages (well, the max time they can be in for anyway) and it is so much easier to get stuff done if they are set up where you can see them. DD cracks me up in it, she looks so funny in there and chatters away to herself while jumping as high as she can. It was worth the money! I will have to try teaching DD to put her dummy back in once she reaches 6 months too. At the moment she tries, but often ends up grabbing it and flinging it across the room (and then screams while I search her bedroom for it until I give up and get out a spare one!)

jen - sorry to hear that DD isn't sleeping so well again. They always seem to do that - as soon as you think you are in a pattern and they have figured it out, it all changes again and you have no idea why! I think my DD is around the same weight now, but I really should get her weighed again. I love the seat in your pic - we have the same one!

The last couple of nights DD has slept better, thank goodness. I think a lot of the time the issue is gas, but it is so hard to get up sometimes! She even slept until 9.30am the other day and I had eight hours sleep! Not all at once of course, but in total, which is much better than the usual 4-5 hours I get. We even went out last night and left her with my parents and sister (three babysitters for one baby, seems a bit ridiculous!) and she was a good girl and we had a great night.

Hi to everyone else, have a great weekend! I am going to get a massage now with a voucher I got for christmas but hadn't had time to get until now. Lucky me!

Bun - I bought a jolly jumper but got one second hand so no instructions. How long can you leave them in the JJ for ??? Also with the dummies - rather than just having one dummy, fill the cot with heaps of them so they are bound to find one !!! I can just see it now - 1 baby, 55 dummies !

Jacki I only leave him for fifteen - twenty minutes at a time in the JJ.

    Hi everyone,

We're back after our month over in the UK! the flights went really well and the travel was great although tiring. The flights were good, apart from DD1 getting painful ears so i probably surprised a few passengers and crew by tandem feeding on the descent! I think it only looked like DD1 cuddling me but it was the only thing that would work to calm her down.

We were in a different place every 4 days or so which was more difficult with DD1 (toddler) than with Amelie. Amelie seems to be so happy and smiley all the time she didn't mind the travel at all. We had a week stopover in Malaysia on the way home which was just fantastic. Tropical, warm, wonderful food.

Amelie is not rolling yet and was sleeping well up until 2 weeks ago. Now it's a minimum of waking 3 times in the night! She seems much more alert though so i'm attributing the waking to brain activity and development as this seemed to happen with DD1 too.

Sorry no time for personals but i love reading what you're all up to. Hope you all have a good weekend!

    Hi all,

Roya -- great to hear you are back and all went well. How are the girls settling back in at home?

Jacki/Carley -- I had a fantastic cream from a chemist in melbourne which had lavendar in it and it was great for dribble rash etc. I just have to remember the name of the chemist -- they take postal orders and its not too expensive.

Well DD has only managed to roll once from tummy to back. She gets on her side really well but just can't get the rest of the way and my she gets sooooo frustrated. She is quite content to lie on the floor and watch her big brothers. DS1 is very cute he dances around in front of her and does all his kinder songs she loves it.

My DH has a social club thing tonight so he won't be home until about 10pm!! I think we will be having takeaway for tea I have the can't be bothereds.

Have a nice weekend and YAY School Holidays !!!!

    Sue
