Are you using a newborn teat? It will have a smaller hole in it than 3-6 and 6-12 month teats. I think you said you were using the NUK ones? I have a NUK pump that came with the bottle and I couldn't use the bottle for Noah because the milk came out way too fast for him. How about feeding JD for half a bottle and then burping him and then feeding the other half and burp as usual. Xavier is a big spewer himself and apparently you don't need to burp a b/f baby but I find I need to for him unless I want to wear the milk. Try not to stress too much about the crying, it is the only form of communication they have. Just go down the list, has he been fed? Has he got a dirty nappy? Does he have trapped wind? (try burping for a minute or gently cycle his legs to get rid of farts ) If all of the above have been tried he may just need a cuddle. I feel you on not being able to rest with a messy house either so I can't help you there I know exactly what you mean about having to rely on a partner though, I am going to freak when Juz goes back to work.
