    hello girls,
well, just read your threads and all sounds well, Kel, I'm glad to see you in here! My cousin has a girl and boy (twins) and the girl is soooo much more advanced/active than the boy, maybe it is a girl thing??? That said, Ally can't walk yet and Oscar can so who knows? But you must be proud of them both!
Rory - good luck with bubba number 2, we are going to try later this year - I have only had one period since, so I think it may take a while for my body to get back into sink??
Nickers - wow, almost 12 weeks for you? Congratulations, you must be excited....
hello to everyone else, Baths, IK, Ali - must run, Ally is up..

    luv
    CC

Quite a few people I know say their babies didn't get teeth until over a year old... nothing to worry about. Hiya Jaspen and CeeCee

Howdy girls - what a wintry day it is in Melbourne! DH has the car today so we are walking to the local libarary to meet up with Mothers Group this morning for Rhyme Time - a baby session with music and singing. I have him dressed up in jeans, a shirt and a little Fred Bare vest (which I bought on ebay cause it was so CUTE!) and he looks like such a cuddly little man I just calmed him down after a poo and cry session and cuddled him in his room. He was awake but happy just to snuggle on my lap for the last 10 mins, and hwne I put him in his cot he just sighed and rolled over and closed his eyes. So sweet! I wish I could keep this moment for a bit longer!!

Better go - gotta clean before I brave the "rain" (rather than showers!) which is predicted for today. Great day to try out the rain cover on Flynn's stroller

Good morning Just back from collecting Wade from Kinder... he is much improved but now Niall has whatever he had... mild temp, conjested etc... just a cold... probably good to get before winter arrives... will help boost immunity... good side to everything I guess. Have the BOM site open... rain on it's way... better go outside and put stuff away etc. Kids take stuff out there without me knowing and if I don't check I'm likely to find Wade's favourite toy totally ruined... speaking of which we almost had a fire disaster here on Monday night: Wade has a kinda torpedo shaped cane lamp in his bedroom... unknown to anyone he had stuffed his favourite plushie kitten into it along with about 1/2 a dozen PullUps (nappies). I tucked him in and turned on the lamp, not seeing all the stuff inside... about 15 minutes later DH returns home from work... as usual he goes in to say goodnight to Wade. I followed him in... as we entered his bedroom we both smelt smoke and toxic chemicals! Aggggh! it was coming from the lamp!!! I turned it off and raced outside with it... I swear it almost burst into flame at that point due to the breeze! I pulled out all the melted and smouldering items and stood there speechless looking at DH ... we were both horrified knowing how close it had been... the cane lamp would have burned easily sending a probably silent column of flame up to the roof. Wade slept through it all as we carried him into our bedroom. Luckily that part of the house is kinda separate from the main part and the smell didn't come out. It just shows you how quickly stuff can happen... I just thank God it's DH's habit to check on all his kids as soon as he gets home!

back later... better feed my little heart-stopper! Wade was suitably mortified when I debriefed with him the following morning... he didn't get "in trouble" but I managed to instill how dangerous it was... he knows about fire spreading... and was horrified at the charred remains of his beloved plushie kitten... I think it had an impact, he won't do THAT again...

ETA: PayDay today... a fire extinguisher has suddenly become a top priority on our "must buy" list!

ETA: on the laptop today... no access to email... will switch over to the desktop later...

OMG Bath how scarey. Geez that could have been so much worse couldnt it, Im glad Wade and you guys were fine and he has hopefully realised the danger he could have potentially started. geez it would have been a heart stopper for sure.
Nixon's got a nice egg on his head atm he was standing against the high chair when he feel and hit his head on the tiled floor. Surprisinly he didnt cry as much as he has for smaller injuries.

Ahhhhh! ((((hugs)))) Rory! I just knew it! I could feel it in my waters LOL... oooooh how exciting!!!! How are you feeling?! Are you super sensisitive to every little twinge? The second/third/etc time 'round is very different! I found that I was "on alert" for everything to the point that I wondered whether I was imagining half of it!
