Hi girls, well thankfully Miss M is back to her happy, smiling self. Took a while but she is there. Its so nice to see and hear her wicked laugh!

Jaspen - congratulations on boy #3, you are really outnumbered now! Great that everything is going well with the pregnancy.

Maya - you are a very organised girl! Campus day care is great. I'm sure Oscar will love it, new and fun environment and lots of kids to play with. Usually with sleep, they put them down together and depending on whether he will be in a room with a cot or a bed, they will help him go to sleep. Marley sleeps on a mattress, which she has never done before (she is used to her cot), but someone sits with her and pats/rubs her until she is asleep. She sometimes sleep for 90 mins which is not much but better than nothing. Make sure you tell us how his first day goes. Did you find your nail file?

Bath - I love having a clean floor! My friend made me a mix of bicard soda and bleach and it works wonders. I did my whole kitchen/family room recently and it was the cleanest I have ever seen. I also used it in the shower and wow, it gets everything off. How's your energy levels been? Whenever I see the hot weather coming, I think of you.

Tali - you must be so relieved DH is home. That would have been a very worrying time. But you did a great job keeping it all together. Counting down the days till you move? Flooding isn't a very common thing here, thankfully. How is Kai and May today? Lets hope the chicken pox don't an appearance.

Rory - I was lucky with Chelsea, she didn't get her first major illness till she was 2 1/2 and that was chicken pox. Sorry to hear DH didn't get in, makes you wonder who does get in???? It's nice to find a positive though, he makes such a good SAHD. Although sometimes going to work is less scary than being home some days LOL!!!! You'll find life gets easier with 2 once Ollie can sit and do those things. The baby stage is so time consuming, but I know what you mean about not wishing it away, thats so true. Are you enjoying being back at work?

Hi everyone, sorry I've been MIA, I was up visiting my mum and dad in Hervey Bay for about a week and had a semi relaxing time. Sometimes I really do think that going on a holiday with kids is a bad idea. They wake up earlier then usual and the beds are just never as comfortable, but it was nice to see them again.

I had my 8 week check up yesterday and everything is fine for now, my m/s kicked up a notch in the last week and I'm still really tired from my holiday. So will try and catch up later.

Hi girls, just a quickie: getting ready to go see an Endocrinologist (Hormone specialist) about my Hyperthyroid condition, for the first time, so I'm a bit nervous about him pressuring me to take anti-thyroid drugs and therefore have to wean immediately. Niall will not give up without the biggest of fights!!! My energy levels are getting very low though so i feel trapped between a rock and a hard place!

Amanda: great to see you back I know what you mean about holidays and kids... one child isn't so bad... multiple! it can be just as exhausting as being at home! if not more-so! We are having a mini holiday this weekend... going to DH's home town in Gippsland for his 20th year school reunion. going to stay for the weekend. The hotel is nothing flash but at least it will be a change of scene!

ok... better gather up all the natural medications I've been taking so that this specialist can have a good old laugh... they can be so condescending some times

i went to a wedding yesterday, id love to show u a pic of me cause i went to a lot of effort but i lost the camera..... hoping its at a friends house that we stayed at last night cause i rang the restaurant and nothing was handed in.

Nixon is seriously being hard work! FOR ME he wont eat, throws his food, throws tantrums, wont brush his teeth. But for others he doesnt behave this way?
my parents had the boys from 1pm yest to 10 thismorning mum said she fed him no problems, brushed his teeth etc....i just bought a tigger vibrating one in hope i can get him to use this one??
why does he muck up for me? even dh can get him to eat where i cant

Mel- glad Marley is back to her cheecky self again!

i used to love home improvement! one kid was called Randy trying to think of the others!

Nic its not just you its happening here too Kai wont let me do anything I cant change her nap she wont let me put her in her car seat without a huge fight, wont eat unless she is feeding herself and even then she will only eat custed or yogurt which I always end up letting her have as at least then I know she has something in her tummy, she is just so very inderpendent.... even when she is crying and up set she wont let me give her a kiss or a cuddle only if she wants me to give her one... Oh the joys of a nearly 2 yr old!!! Her only word is NO which she will tell me all the time... but like you said she is quite fine for others but all kids do this to us mums I think its because we spend the most time with them so we get the brunt of there anger... Kai loves to hit scrach and pinch me when she is angery so I am trying to let her know that isnt on... Good luck I hope Nixon stops soon but remeber your not alone and he isnt doing this to you because he doesnt like you ( even though thats how it feels most the time) its just something that they have to go through..

Well we have had our 1st sunny weekend in ages so I took the kids to the water park and we ended up being there for 4 hrs as they were being so good and having so much fun.. A GF brought her boys alone aswell so Zay even got to play scoccer with them shame he was nowhere near as good as they were so in the end was getting a little up set as they always blooked his goel or stole the ball from him so I had to tell him its because they play together all the time so they are used to playing the game and he only have me and the girls and we dont play those type of games... Might join him up for a team sport next year so he gets to play in a team with boys his own age...

Nic - hope you find your camera. Would have loved to see a pic of you all glamed up! Sorry to hear Nixon isn't been kind to you lately. I'm sure it's just one of those independant phases they go through. Hopefully it wont last long.

Tali - sounds like a fun day at the water park. Zay might like to join up a sport when you come to Melb? Does he like team sports? Any more word on your moving expenses?

I've had a great weekend. It was my birthday yesterday so had family over for BBQ on Saturday night and my gorgeous GF invited us over for dinner last night and cooked a beautiful dinner. I felt very spoilt and even had birthday cake with candles and sparklers (which the kids loved). DH got me a flight centre voucher so I can book my trip to Brisbane in May to visit my best friend. Will hopefully book it this week.

Kids are great. Chelsea is learning lots at school about respecting others and I really think its rubbing off at home too and helping her and Marley get along better. Marley is well and truely over her throat infection and is being an absolute delight lately. She just gives me her cheeky smile and I just melt, its so cute!

Its been a really hot weekend and going to be a hot week too. DH took Chelsea to the local pool today and she found a girl from school, so they played for a while. Marley decided to have a long sleep today, so we missed out! Oh well, I had a chance to chill out and read my book.

MIL couldn't look after Marley tomorrow, so I have the day off which I am looking forward to. Just Marley and I.

Hi girls, just quickly, about to go to bed: My visit to the specialist went quite well Best news is that there is a type of anti-thyroid medication that I can take and still BF! Yay! so no enforced weaning! Phew! So I have started my treatment. He said he thinks it will take up to 8 months to be "cured" if the tablets are going to work.... if they don't then it'll have to be a more aggressive treatment (radiation/removal) let's hope it doesn't come to that. So far no side effects... all anti-thyroid tablets are pretty harsh though... nausea is a possibility. Anyhow, so far so good. Escaped the heat today in at Melbourne Central with Verity. Personals tomorrow.... nighty nite!

ETA: Happy birthday for yesterday Mel! We need to have a meet up soon!

thats great news bath, seems it will take a while before you back to full health but hopefully now you have started treatment you feel an improvement soon.
Hows the hot weather been there? i think it must have forgotten that summer is actually over hey... adelaide has been real hot also. Not sure when but im thinking sometime this year i might come down to melb to visit all my friends. prob just bringTyron wilth me so will only be for a few days but if we can all work it out i'd love to see you all!
Tali- yep sonds like we've got a couple of indepandants on our hands. Nixon is such a good boy a lot of the time, but he just seems to put up a fight/have a tanty etc to me!
Tali- glad you had a nice weekend. sounds like Zay would really enjoy a sport.

oh and the camera was in DH suit pants lol! releived that i didnt leave it anywhere, i added some pics on facebook.

Nic - I just checked out your photos and WOW! You look amazing. You look like you have dropped heaps of weight. And what a handsome couple you make. I love the dress too. Also checked out the boys pics and they are just so cute. Tyron is certainly growing up, love the chubby cheeks. Would love to catch up when you are down.

Mel - yeh it seems at my scan last week I had an AFI (amniotic fluid index) of 6.28 which is at the lower limit before it is classed as a condition (5 and under is a condition). it seems at this stage there isn't much they can do so will discuss with OB tomorrow (whos read the report and hasn't rung so there is obviously no immediate problem or nothing immediate that can be don) and see what I have to do. Bubs is growing to dates exactly but given my last two have always been big for their stage I figure something could be going on. The rest of the u/s report indicates everything else is ok at this stage.

Hi to anyone ive missed

sorry ive not been around, i have my parents over from the UK so no time for the computer. Its great having help with the kids but Oscar is spoilt brat from hell as he is being given in too all the time by two certain older temporary members of the house!!!
We are going out for a meal (curry - yummy) in freemantle tomorrow (just me and DH) so im getting my haircut and blowdried tomorrow so i can hopefully look somewhere near human! We then go awa down to Margaret River for the weekend - without kids!!!! Im so looking forward to it but scared too as ive never been away from them for a night - apart from Osc when i was having Will! - not sure how Will will cope but he gets on with them well so hopefully ok.

Little bubby has started moving and bump is definately growing now, clothes getting tighter and have started wearing a few maternity trousers but still look like ive just eaten too many pies rather than have a bubby in there!

Glad to hear everything sounds good with you all, will hopefully manage abit more time in here soon (rents go away for 3 days next week so might be back then).

Hi Girls just stopping in to stay hello, I did a big post earlier but lost it and have now run out of time to do it again- but I thought I would just stop in to say hello and say that things are starting to look up here. Liam is sleeping a bit better and his reflux is better too.
Tori is coping quite well and is talking so much now, she knows some of her colour- red,blue,green, yellow, she knows some shapes square, triangle and circle and is starting to count mostly 3,4,6 over and over but she gets the idea.

Sorry about the me post, I will try to get back to catc up on everyone's news soon.

Hello Everyone old and new!!!

How things change when you dont appear for quite some time! ( ok a very very long 'quite some time'!)

Congrats to everyone who has added a new addition or is expecting a new addition! How fabulous!

Jack and Charlee are almost 2. I cant believe we made it this far. They are the absolute light of my life those two little terrorists. My mum once named them Search and Destroy. So very true.

We are in such a great spot in our lives there is almost talk (and I say almost with the utmost hesitation and tepidation! lol,,,,,) of yes, another baby to add to our little crew! We have discussed it and are going to take one step at a time. Twins again scares me to death. But we'll see hey.

Anyway I'll be back..... I promise

Hey kel - Great to hear from you. Its surreal to think the twins will be two in a couple of weeks - sounds like they and you are doing really well (must be to be thinking of going again LOL!!!) NIcs given you the run down in brief anyway hope you have a chance to pop in more often.

Ali - glad to hear Liam is settling down a bit for you and it sounds like Ali is dealing with everything really well. She is one smart little girl thats for sure. Sam is nowhere near that stage yet although this week every written letter is "free" and his favourite expression is "stuck" although you can probably imagine what that sounds like a lot of the time. LOL!!

Hey Julie - good to hear from you too. Thinking pink thoughts for you!!! Enjoy your me time and couple time while your parents are here. Its sounds quite relaxing and renewing.
