Well I am back from the meet and have to say I think it will be my 1st and last I was at the end of the table where no one spoke to me maybe beacuse I have big kids, either way I dont think I could get the corage to do it all again... At least I still have my Junies

I was so hoping to make some friends too, maybe I just wanted it too much so things never work out when you want them too... Arrrrr destioned to be alone with my kidlets, which isnt so bad after all...

Jaspen so good to hear from you again cant believe you only have 3 weeks to go!!! I always think of you in that wonderful warm tropical weather...

Julie - its great that you are happy with your hospital it nice when you feel happy and confortable in a place... the 19th is my Dad's birthday so if he is anything to go by you will have a Leo who will come out knowing all before she is ready lol ( sorry my Dad is the biggest no it all leo around as is BHL who is a leo )

Mel we are planing to take the kids to see kung fu panda but zayden and BHL want to see the car racing one...

Maya like I said will miss your posts so please do post every now and then, mind you I know how hard it can be with kids running around...

Don't worry, you are not destined to be alone. How old were the other people's kids? They should be milking you for advice. The car racing one would be a perfect boys movie. Maybe you and May go to Kung Fu Panda and BHL and Zay go to car one (can't remember the name!). Bugger the coffee, go a nice glass of wine tonight

Julie - great to hear from you. Look forward to your nice long posts. Gives me something to get into, rather than just a quick read. Had to PML about the Tena lady products, bloody hilarious!!!! Lucky James, sunning it up in Italy. Hopefully he will feel so guilty about being away from his beautiful wife that gifts will be in order (and really nice ones too). The visual of Will with his head on floor, bum in air - funny!!! We get something similiar or she stands in the corner with her forehead on the wall! Sounds like things are getting organised with the hospital, 19th August isn't too far away. Better get washing those clothes!!!! I did most of mine when I bought them, otherwise with my shopping addiction, I would have the biggest pile to go through. Your boys sound so divine - being so good for their mummy. They are going to love having a baby sister to fuss over. Hope ob appointment went well today and you managed to get the stroller out of the car!

Japsen - wow, only 3.5 weeks to go! Glad I am not the only one dealing with trantrums and frustration. Didn't you know that big, rounded (not fat!) pregnant ladies should go slow at this stage - take it easy.

Maya - you better not be a stranger!!! I can totally understand your reasons, there just never seems to be enough hours in the day to spread around to all the things you want to do - I hear you!!! Anytime you head to Knox or are passing my way, just let me know. Sorry to hear about DP's grandpa. It's sad when the oldies get sick. Enjoy having your parents and sister over.

Work day nearly over. Been a bit quieter today. MIL took Chelsea to Disney on Ice yesterday and she said it was brilliant. Chelsea got a bit scared during the Little Mermaid scene (a giant Ursula the sea witch appeared!) but othewise they both had a great day. DH working tonight so once I pick up the girls and they have dinner and are in bed I will be cracking open a bottle of wine, rugging up in my pj's and having a nice, relaxing evening.

I meant to write this in the last post (forget where I leave my head sometimes!):
Oscar's doing the stamping, but even more so, he's taken to saying 'go away' and pushing his hand out at the offender! Unfortunately, we tell the dogs to 'go away' a lot and he's got it from there I have to let him do that and have a cry because until he's had it out, he won't come to me for hugs...and by the hugs stage he's ready for Babu, where he usually then falls asleep. So, it would seem we get 'tanties' when he's tired and in need of a bit of booby comfort.
He's been a big snot monster all week and starting to get better now. I also meant to post earlier this week about our early waking last Saturday morning...5.40am...I was destroyed! I know I've had it lucky with a late waker and shouldn't complain, but when you're not used to it, it's a head wrecker.
Mel - will do Thought I'd be able to drop in yesterday but Oscar was too unwell to take to uni and my idea was dashed!
Tali - that's a shame about the meet, I came here to see how you went with it - no worries, nothing a meet up with the Melb Junies can't fix
Going to my parents' for dinner, leaving Oscar and...drumroll please...going on a movie date! Of course, it is my initiative, but DP was willing to go along with it, so there is hope for the most unromantic couple on earth yet...Watching Black Hawk Down last night together just wasn't very lovey-dovey (although I got a lot out of the film) and we're in desperate need for some together time.

hey all,

just a super quick one before i go to bed.
Im still around but just been run off my feet between two houses so rarely been on the net. Will prob be without it for a few weeks aswell until it all gets connected at our new house.
so we will be offically in as of saturday! the kitchen starts next week so have a few weeks worth of no kitchen (we have a back up mini one though)
caught some bug or something over the weekend and i was vomitting both ways, wasnt too good, last night i went to bed at 7pm and woke at 7am! felt half normal again today.

Jaspen- all the best, hopefully i will be back on line to hear your birth announcement! how exciting!

hope you are all well and once unpacked etc will try and get back in the BB swing of things!

Maya - how is Oscar, hopefully not snotty anymore. I too have been blessed with late wakers, thankfully! I don't think I could do a 5.40am wake up every morning. How was your date and what did you see (hopefully something more romantic than Black Hawk Down!!!!!)

Nic - good luck with the move and hope you are back online soon. When we renovated, we were without a kitchen for a couple of weeks and it was awful, and that was with no kids! I love my kitchen so being without one was hard, be strong! Glad you are feeling better.

My little Gemini monster has been a real treat lately! She is such a happy chappy one minute, then cranky pants the next. Someone reminded me that she is a gemini, which I hadn't really thought of before. I am not really into the star signs but after hearing that, maybe I should start reading up more. I went out yesterday for lunch with one of my GF's and her son is a few months older than Marley. He wanted to go out the door, which Marley was holding the door handle, he tried to push it open and she pushed him on the ground. He walked off looking very upset. I went over to tell her no, that's not very nice and she just smiled at me so sweetly!!! She has still been pulling Chelsea's hair and nearly ripped the buttons off one Chelsea's tops she was pulling so hard. It is really driving me crazy. Chelsea was such a gentle little thing and such a good toddler, I'm not used to this and not sure if I am going about it the right way? Please feel free to share any of your words of wisdom.

Sorry Junies ... I've been a 'lurking! Been getting caught up with posting in so many areas of BB it's getting ridiculous... spreading myself way too thin. Also have been updating a few avatars for other members... you might have noticed Astrid and rayray's new ones which i'm proud of and they were so much fun to make but all consuming! LOL Maya: I see your's is still up. Never fear!!! I will always have a copy of it on file so if you need to have a break from Platinum for a while i can just keep it for you until you are able to upgrade again (betcha will when you are expecting number 2 So I'll be looking forward to giving your funky avvy a preggy belly at some stage in the hopefully not too distant future! Tali: it is soooo easy to get caught up one end of a bloody table... it's happened to me too (jammed in with Verity and missed out on talking to half the other BB members there... the restuarant was just not designed for people wanting to leave their seats to mingle) But like Mel said: don't be put off... get back on the horse... it happens to everyone. My boys have been unwell over the past few weeks... Niall's had a bad chest infection... Wade a temp... don't know what's going on... but it's been frustrating for me being unable to get out and about... talk about Cabin Fever!

I'm seeing my Endocrinologist (hormone specialist) tonight to see how my blood test went... do i still have an over active thyroid? I feel a bit better although my hair is falling out! Maybe that's just what it does when switching from over active to under active thyroid function... anyway... i'll have some answers soon.

I thought we had started a new thread, but no, it's just been very quiet around here!
Alas, my av's gone - oh, well. DP and I sat down and did a proper 'b' word...budget...last week and it really hit home that I made the right decision not to renew my subscription! I can barely afford a yoga term, but with a bit of a refund due to overestimation of income I probably can scrape it in without too much of an argument. Luckily, we have everything we need, and as Jack Johnson says, everything we need is enough
My sister's pregnant again - I was caught on the hop last time and found out when she was 12 weeks and about to announce to everyone. I was a bit put out, so this time I wanted to know well before it was official and just came out and asked! It was a good gamble, cos she is, indeed, cooking another bun!
In related news, AF is back (in her pathetic 2 day variety way), so I've ordered my Mooncup. We'll see how much use I get out of it Any time from now to fall is fine with me, though DP would have preferred sooner than now, but I'm happy that Oscar will be at more than 2 and a half years old and counting when the next one of ours comes along. For me, that's ideal!
Oh, in feelgood news, I donated some milk to a mummy in need yesterday! Through a local network I was asked if I had any to spare...as we all know here, that is one way to describe my milk supply! So, I felt ace having helped her have a better night of it and her baby get some much needed human milk
Bath- awesome news about the thyroid, so happy for you!
Mel - we saw Indiana Jones that night, not traditionally romantic, but as we have the box set at home, it's just up our alley! And Oscar is being a great little Gemini, too - happy one moment, thwarted and raging the next...it's all I can do to pick up the pieces and cuddle him back to his senses.
Better fly again. Got to make the most of my shortened childcare session. It took forever to get Oscar dressed and out of the house today - I nearly called up to cancel! My mobile phone will hopefully be fixed later today, too...I feel out of kilter without it - not so much for phone calls, but it's my camera and organiser!

Maya- Yeah on getting AF back you sound like mine a 3 day wonder then gone again for another 6 weeks ( when I am not on the pill that is ) so are you TTC again? I cant tell you how happy I am with my 3 yr gaps wouldnt want any other way now even though I did onl;y want 2 yr gaps it natures way it what I was ment to have I guess.... Great new on your sister PG was she tring? My sister is TTC ATM so that this was the month as she is getting quite fustrated... ( mind you she has only been tring for 4 mths )

Well not much to post here hence why I havent been on for awhile same old same old...

Went to my parents place in the holidays but the wind down there comes straight off the ocean so very COLD... But the winkies had heaps of fun as my sister and nephue( sp?) where there also and he is 13 so altra cool!!! The not so little bugger is the same height as me not happy JAN....

better go Kai is looking very sleepy so I might get lucky if I sit with her on the couch, its the only way she will still have any type of day nap now ...

I have just given May a hair cut well a fringe actully as she tried to give herself one!!! Thought of you Mel came to my mind LOL anyway after I asked her why she did she said she wanted to have her hair like Kai's so i thought why not... Its not like it wont grow back... I think it makes her look so much older.... I can almost make out what see could look like when she is a teenager ( which she is always telling us she cant wait to be one ) I think poor BHL will have to lock her up when she is LOL...

Zayden said she looked like she was 10 should have seen her face she couldn't have had a bigger grin on her face if she tried....

Tali - it looks gorgeous!! At least she did a proper job, not like Chelsea's botch job (which is still growing out!). It does make her look much older. Love the new puppy too. Did you mention that in another post and I missed it?

Maya - how exciting, your going to be an aunty again. Thats fantastic news. Maybe you'll be returning the favour soon enough Its so great that you could donate some of your milk, I didn't think they did it so much anymore. DH's grandma used to feed lots of babies in her area as she had heaps of milk, the old fashioned "wet nurses" as they called them (awful name really). Good on you for doing it.

I am glad others can sympathise with my Gemini baby. We have had some great days with her lately, I wonder when the bubble will burst! Marley can now say "Chelsea, but it comes out as "Choolsea", sounds gorgeous. We are starting to hear a few more words, which is encouraging and the odd 2 words together.

Question for you all - I am getting a good amount back on my tax return this year (thank you accountant!), should I pay off my credit card OR do some more home improvements (new front entry door, security door, new blinds in loungeroom)? Who's the responsible ones amongst us?????

Mel: couldn't help seeing your question! Most financial advisors I know (DH and his colleagues and what i have read in DH's BRW) is ATM the priority should be to REDUCE PERSONAL DEBT. Interest rates have not finished rising. when you hear that home loan interest rates are rising then know that credit card rates will also rise. Pay off any cards like Myer Card etc first because they have the highest rates. Over capitalising on homes is usually one of the most common financial mistakes people make... I know your home isn't just an investment, it's your castle, but if you pay off your credit debt you will have more money to spend on your house in the long run.

Super busy week this week, glad its over. We have a weekend of birthday celebrations, friends DS 1st bday, my dads, brothers and DH's. Lots of celebrating to do. Chelsea has been fascinated by the Pope this week and has been coming home from school telling me the funniest stories. Like he is the boss of the church, and he is the boss of the other priests. I love how their minds think.

Hi all.

I only have 9 sleeps to go until our little boy makes his entrance - he can come anytime he likes really as far as I'm concerned although I really odn't see it happening before the 28th July.

The other two boys are being quite good - DS#1 is all excited about his new brother and has decided he should be called Jack. Pity that's not the name DH and I have in mind. Samuel has been playing with a friends bub and so far is understanding the need to be gentle etc. I'm sure it will be a different story when he realises mummy won't be just handing this one back after a cuddle. I think the hardest thing for him initiailly is going to be the limitations after the c/section and the inability to climb all over me.

Bath - Happy birthday!!!!!!!!! I hope this year is a good one. Sounds like its off to a good start with the good blood test results - yay!!!!!

Amanda - all the best over the next 13 weeks or so - I don't know how quickly I'll be back online once bubs is born but will be looking out for yours and Julie's news.

Maya - certainly sounds like thoughts of #2 are entering your head. I must say the three year age gap between my first two was a good one - the extra independence in number one was very handy on occassion (helps that he's pretty placid too I'm sure). Congrats on your increasing aunt status and all the best to your sister.

Mel - pay off that credit card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as you say if there is anything left over that be for spoiling ones self.

Julie - hope all is going well - not long to go now.

Tali - settled in to the cold weather???? it has been so up and down up here its annoying - its even been humid as some days - ridiculous.

Hi all, just returning to normal life after the week from Hell, I have had both kids sick with croup and it has been an endless round of Dr trips, sleepless nights, a trip to the hospital with Liam coughs, snotty noses and many rounds of tears from all 3 of us. Good news is everyone is on the mend.

I don't know if you girls noticed because she has changed her user name, but Tanya had her second baby boy on Thurs, a little boy named Archie.

Enigma- Great to see you back on Board. How is Anetka getting on at Daycare now? How are you liking the new job.

Jaspen- Back to work on Monday actualley, I am both excited and apprehensive as I am teaching a year 5/6 class when I am used to teaching junior primary, really looking forward to the challenge. Wow not long at all now untill you meet your little man.

Mel- As you have probably figured out from my other post, I have a Gemini Monster- Some days I just dont know what to do with her, and poor Liam cops the brunt of it most days, not that I condone fighting amongst sibling, but I cant wait till he is old enough t give her an almighty whack back, maybe she will learn her lesson.
As for the CC debt, we are in much the same prediciment, and we will probably do some and and some as there are some really urgent things that need doing around here.

Bath- Glad to hear that your BT are normal, that must have been a relief.

Tali- I am dreading the day that Tori takes to her hair with scissors. She already pretends to cut her toys hair after watching her dad have a hair cut recently so scissors are kept well out of the way here.

Nic- Are you in your new house yet?

Other than sickness things here are pretty good. Starting back at work next week which is exciting, I am not looking forward to the kids trying to settle into a new routine, but I am sure once they do it will be great. My super tropper Liam has started crawling and pulling himself up to standing on everything he possibly can, found him standing in his cot the other day, and he is not even 7 months yet.
Tori loves to tell us all how it is these days, I took her to the Fairies concert today which she really loved, she hasnt stopped talking about it all day. I am thinking about putting her in daycare one day a week next year a I think she will really benifit for the social experience, and having a bit of down time from her brother. We have a centre just across the road which I want to check out, and hopefully can get her into.

Quick Qu. How did you know what the right number of kids was for you? We love having our 2 kids, one of each is just perfect and it is alot of work too (as kids are), and even though DH is adament that 2 is enough, but part of me feels like I am not done yet- however I am wondering if that feeling would still be there if I had 1 kids. So how do you know when you are done?
