Hi girls!! Thought I might pop in and join you. Oscar was born on the 8th and is now just over 3 weeks. He is generally a beautiful baby but we do have problems settling him at night - screaming around 8pm onwards, unable to settle to sleep until 1am etc. He was co sleeping with us in a co sleeping bed then into the bassinette in our room but was unsettled in both. During the day though he sleeps flat in the pram bassinette without a problem. Last night he slept sitting semi reclined in the rocker and settled well (after 1am ) feeding every 3 hours but going straight back to sleep.

Generally, I am a new mummy with no idea but I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Michelle!! Glad to have you on board this roller coaster of parenting new borns!! hehehe!!

Our little girl also loves to squawk in the evening!! It is as though she winds herself up for a session from her 4pm feed by being restless and crying for a couple of minutes every 30mins or so and then after her feed around 3hours later, it's game on! *sigh* Last night, she decided to give from 10pm to 11.30pm a crack as well

She's in her bassinett but we put her in our room overnight and in her nursery during the day (closer to big sisters raucousness - hehehe!!) With our first DD though, she would only settle in her pram for the first couple of months (tried the cot etc but to no avail) but she eventually caught on to the cot thing by about 3 months .................few tears in the interim but we got there!!
