mum2bee - Don't feel like a failure because you gave Aiden a dummy. I gave one to Caeleb, because he too likes to suck his hands and fingers. My Mum sucked her thumb till she was 12 and has shocking front teeth. I figure, he's either going to suck his fingers (and possibly stuff his teeth up in the future), me or a dummy. When he's two, I can throw a dummy out, but I can't chop off his fingers and there's NO WAY he's going to get boob every time he wants comfort. So, don't be so hard on yourself.
