mum2bee - we used a dummy for Dylan and have used one again for Tyler. I really wouldn't get upset. I have found it really helps to settle. Tyler has been feeding every 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours during the day and 3 hours at night. I need to give him the dummy inbetween because he is not getting my boobs any more than he already is. You can also choose to take the dummy away. I don't think I had any friends who didn't try a dummy but some babies wouldn't take it. Some of those kids are still constant finger suckers at age 3 and they just can't stop it.

Princessmya - I'm afraid I can't help with your oversupply problem. I think mine is quite the opposite. I wear breast pads all day and rarely get leakage at all.
