I think teething is the reason for all the unsettledness and clingyness Jazz has at the moment. She's chomping on everything she can get into her mouth, red cheeks, grumpy, clingy. mum said it sounds like teething symptoms. Also, I'm not 100% sure but I think I can feel a couple of hard bumps that could be teeth about to cut.

Well off to get 4 month immunisations in a minute, hopefully she'll sleep heaps after like last time. I really hope so coz I'm not feeling well and could do with a rest.

Well, injections went well. I asked the nurse that gave the injections about the red cheeks and the unsettledness etc. She said 1. it does sound like teeting (better get some gel. Have just put teeting rings in the fridge). 2. At this age babies often have a "wonder week" and that she is probably going through that as well.

Summer has had all the teething symptoms for weeks too, red cheecks dribbling, grizzling, chomping on everything can feel her teeth under her gums but they must be just moving around down there all my girls had teething symptoms for months before actually getting them. I missed summy's needles forgot on the day even though all morning i remembered so have to wait for the next

Summer is waking all hours of the morning and wanting to feed constantly, i can't get her to go back into her cot, it is really really draining me as i am not going to bed until between 10 and 11.30 and then she is fussing all morning........... I knew the good sleeping wasn't going to last been through it all before.

The horse i have on trial is going home tomorrow a few things wrong with him and i am not too happy about the whole thing but won't go into it or ill get cranky....

Sick of being a single parent.... while DH is living it up in spain i am busting my a** and it's school holidays. Geez i need a good sleep hopefully tonight.

Hope you are all well and sorry for no personals have a killer headache and just feeling blah!!!!!

MJ is much better now, luckily it was only the 24hrs after the injections that she was unwell....

Trina - school hols is an awful time for your DH to be away, you should give me his email address and i will tell him that you need a really big and thoughtful pressie for all your hard work... just think thou, most of the time ,you single handedly are raising your beautiful girls and they are so smart and well looked after and into everything, they will take after their wonder woman Mummy
sorry about the horse, dont want to be negative, but possibly a good thing that he (im assuming a he or half a he :P) hasnt worked out, sounds like you are stretched to breaking point and having 2 horses to work will break you...
How many days are you working now, did i read rightly that you were at work on Saturday? When does DH's promotion come in? Any chance of him giving you some money so that you can stop? i wish we lived close, i would wisk you away for a girly weekend you sond like you need it

Danni - MJ is doing the same, CMHN said that they have teething symptoms for several months before they actually cut them, they are born with the teeth in there and they start moving around from about now til they cut their first one that could be up to about 11mths old, so this is not going to be short lived im afraid.

Trina - also forgot to mention, how long do you have to wait til you can get to the immunisations? with the rotavirus, there is only a short window in which it can be give, maybe 2 weeks either side of the due date, (may be a bit longer but not sure) so if it is going to be a little while, maybe you should check... sorry i know that you probably know all this as this is 4th time round for you, but thought i would mention it

Pama - how is it going?

Shell - you are not so chatty, everything OK?

Skye, hope all is going ok with Jaz, any updates? what happened with the Kitten, how did you break the news?

MJ has started to be funny with feeding, she wont always do both sides and if she comes of she really crackes it and screams, now you have to understand that she normally will cry like once a day, if that, now it is a lot more often and she arches her back and its horrid to watch, i literally have to force her head onto my boob and she still crys a bit... anyone one else???

oooh shes awake agian and crying - poor baby

ETA - Danni you post popped up Goodluck

trina - big hugs!!! oh honey, it's so unfair on you. yeah, we should all write a big email to your DH. does he come back and take over for a bit? but the girls will know you've been there so much for them. and yes, he should get a big pressie, and then the best pressie is to look after the girls and give you sometime off. it's hard looking after the girls, housework, and working too.
yes, he was due for a promotion at the time summer was born.. how's that going?
sorry about the horsey poor thing.

danni - woo hoo! that's fantastic!!!! I really happy for you, hope you get it!! xoxoxxo

sj - poopy's feeding habits are changing, he's dropping his last feed and now is getting fussy. he's taking forever to drink his bottle. i dunno what to do. the other day, he completely refused his bottle, and i was so worried and upset i scolded him, and then felt so horrid.

shell - how are you? hpws the pole dancing and walks going? hehe, it will be you that i wont recognise when i come back! ive only lost 1/2kg since ive been here.

    teach/jade how are you all.

we got the results of poopy's urine test today, the paed said there's white cells so could be UTI. no blood or crystals, tho there was pinky/orange on his bbh yest. she said dont worry about that, we'll check do another sample and a culture too.

Well, that's it. Matt & I decided that we both have to work full time for a while. There has been a delay in him starting his taxi job so when I got my parenting payment this fortnight it was enough to cover rent, nappies and formula...that's it. And wouldn't you know it, every bill that could possibly come did at the very worse time! So tomorrow I'm going to a child care centre to discuss putting her in there when she's not at the family day care so we'll do shared care between the 2 places and then when she starts full time care I'll put heaps of effort into looking for full time work. I'm very surprised I got an interview for this job at the uni. Apparently you're meant to submit a cover letter, a multi page report covering in detail all of the job criteria as well as a resume. All I did was submit a resume, nothing else...Ah well, guess they liked what they saw. The bonus with that too is it's a government job. Fingers crossed! Another job I applied for today was one my sister has worked at as a temp. She was offered the job but said no because she is moving interstate in a couple of months but she recommended me to the boss.

    Hey girls

Sorry I have been slack on posting...... the wireless wasn't working so couldn't post as much, but now working again yay

SJ - all good with me, just been busy with DJ and out and about. I have to get DJ's immunisation this week also, will go to my doctor this time so she can give him a once-over. Good to hear MJ is feeling better and she was only unsettled for 24 hours.

Prama - yeah all good with walking. Did 14kms on Thursday and walking to and from Ness' class tomorrow providing the weather is good. Pole is great too, missed it on Saturday though. 1/2 kg weight loss is great Prama, don't go by the kg's lost, go by the way you feel in your clothes, I find that is a better way hope Poopy is ok? keep us updated...

Trina - I feel for you especially with the school holidays..... hope DH can come home soon and help you out.

Danni - good luck with your job hunt, hope you can get the one you want

Well girls, I better get dinner organised and DJ's bottle.
