SHES SLEEPING!!- and its only 8:11pm!

last night, i got her to sleep by 10:30ish. she carried on like a pork chopp with her eyes half closed and crying and kicking and all that sort of thing. My sister called at 10pm to see how she was going, i told her it was no use, and she said "your gonna have to hold her, she will cry for a few seconds, hold her firm, dont talk to her and just pat her bum" i told her it wouldnt work, tim told her it wouldnt work... and guess what... IT WORKED!!

It sounds silly, but Abby has not liked being put to bed like this since she was 4 months old. Its near impossible for her to let you even hold her "like a baby", so trying to make her sleep that way has always been just hell really. Well i spose she doesnt mind it now. Thats how my sis has been getting he to sleep the last few days.

I dont know... i think she might be coming good. My sister (the same sister) said she had a great day today, and wasnt cranky and didnt cry all day. Shes been so cranky and such a hand full for the past week (2 new teeth tho)... but yeah, today she was back to her joyful self and she just went to sleep having a bottle with tim.

I dont think it will last long... there is another tooth just under the skin, and shes pulling at her ear alot so i dont know... cant wait till these teeth are up. But then i think some of it is her trying to be a bossy boots so im ignoring her tantrums for things.

Jen- with the CC thing, we tried it (if you could call it that, lasted 15 mins all up, thats when my sis called! LOL) what do you do when you go in there after the set time and she is sitting up the other end of the cot? I dont think she would just lay down again by herself... Did your little one sit and stand up when u were doing CC?

Hey Steph- so sorry to hear that you have been having a rough time of it. How is Cailan going now?

Ok, well im going to make use of the extra time Abby has given us tonight.. starting with some fruit and ice-cream, followed by some "quality time" with my georgeous Tim.

(BTW- i soooooooo cant wait for valentines day!! whats everyone doing? anyone got any good ideas??)
