We went to an ABA meet-up yesterday morning on PND and bf. Went along with a gf who has PND, so I hope she found it supportive. Anyway, lots of littlies there and apparently one little boy who's 3 hit Lucy. His poor Mum was in tears (she just had another baby 2 wks ago, thought she was doing well to be there!), Lucy didn't utter a squeak! I told her not to worry, I'm sure Lucy hurt herself a lot more than he could (ie DP let her crawl off the bed on the weekend - not watching her - and she has the bruises to show!). Poor little guy was obviously trying to get some attention and apparently he's been doing it a bit since his little brother was born. His Mum tried to tell him it was wrong and he'd hurt her, etc, etc, but I think he was more upset when he saw her crying. He made a real effort after that, kept going over to Lucy and cuddling and kissing her (praised every time for being so nice, so that probably helped). I kept an eye on them so his Mum could go and sit down. Poor Lucy was probably wondering why he was smothering her in kisses for the next hour!! Plus, Lucy is so keen on getting into things with all the bigger kids I figure she's going to have to learn how to look after herself a bit. I can't seem to stop her!

Anyhoo, it's getting way late for me to have not had a shower, so I'd better go and do so!!
