....failed my Edinborough PND test ....AGAIN. Surprise surprise. This sucks. It's not even Darcy causing it.

Oh Vic you reminded me I didn't send my pressies to get printed. Can you repost that early tomorrow to remind me? Only joking LOL. Hope you get it done.

Wow Tania you're in for some big days. Don't forget you're weetbix, multivites and vegemites to keep up your energy! I agree with Vic....change CC.

Shazz, I'm with you. They must learn it somewhere.

The Dragon's exhausted herself this morning. She wouldn't have a sleep this morning and is so tired she fell asleep feeding.....hopefully she sleeps for a good length now.

I am around. Em is still upset. Had to get a stool sample  - seriously he has the runs how on earth did they think I could get that?!?!!? I hope there was enough there for them to test LOL.

Its really hot here - reached 40 today and will again tomorrow!! The last two nights have been bad - I don't know how you've been coping Kim. I had maybe 4 hours sleep each night (which is more then you I think) and I was going nuts. Em wouldn't sleep unless he was in the car. He would kind of sleep in my arms but only after a drive!?!? He has been better today and went to sleep by himself just before and is now in his cot. Hopefully he stays asleep - I've got a few things to do and then I'm getting an early night!!

Will try and catch up on personals tomorrow. Night girls.

Happy Seven Months today Darcy, Phoebe, Jesse, and Kaitlyn!!

You're all growing up so fast!

Not much happening today. Still have Christmas sewing to finish. So close to finishing but not in the mood. Also have a heap of housework to do but not in the mood for that either. Mark's parents coming next Wed night so better get to it.

Ah, might go have lunch first and see what's on the box! LOL

Kim, thanks for coming yesterday - was good to see you.

Hope all is well for all.

    Evening Ladies,

Quiet in here today. Weekends always are i spse.

HAPPY 7 MONTHS DARCY, PHOEBE, JESSE AND KAITLYN!!!

Leanne - Sewing??? I could'nt sew to save my life!! Hope you found something too do!!

Nat - Hope Em is ok today. Poor little man. Briley has been VERY grizzly the last few days. Her teeth must be really on there way now. She is very hard to settle and has been waking up a few times a night now. She goes to bed easily but wakes up a bit. She has been very cranky today. Esp in the evening. I just put on some sedagel and give her the dummy and she kinda settles. Poor little baby gets so frustrated. Hope you found a way to cool down today. Its just started raining up here and its lovely!!

Kim - Sorry to hear about your PND test. So what happens now??? Do you have to go and see someone?? How are you feeling in general. Sorry for the 101 questins just want to know how you are.

I really need to get my stuff together and send out some chissy cards. Prolly too late now though. I dont even think we are going to be able to afford to buy any chrissy pressies this year. Ill have to find a way though. Both Brent and I are off work over chissy so its going to be difficult.

How's darcy been going the last couple of days??

Oh yeh and i hate when i strip the bed and forget about it too!!! Esp when you are really tired and just want to go to bed. I ususally make brent make it or help me!!

Vic - I hear you on the cleaning issues. I am trying to keep myself awake at the moment! The house has been ok. I manage to make the bed, clean the kitchen and tidy the lounge then i am knackered! Hope the pics turned out good!! Do you have a webpage for Adam??

Karen - HOLY DOOLY!!! STANDING!!! WOW - What a clever little girl!! Is he crawling yet??

Tania - OMG @ FIL. Don't mean to be rude or anything but what a pr*ck!!! That would really get my goat too. Why dont you say something to your SIL??? I would. I know it would put her in the middle but Jayden is your baby. IL's are pathetic sometimes are'nt they. I am glad my PIL's live a fair way away from us!! I think i'd go insane if they lived here!!

Yeh i mucked up my dates. For some reason i thought i was going to be due on the 27th. I did a computer EDD and thats what it brang up. I should have had a look in my pg book under the EDD calander instead. So yeh i am due on the 30th now. I am feeling ok. VERY tired though. I have been getting a little nausea the last few days when i leave big gaps in between meals and snacks but other than that i am fine. The tiredness is the only similarity between this pg and Briley's.

How are you going??? Have'nt seen you on MSN for ages....

Alison - Hey mate. Yeh i miss our talk heaps too!! I have 10 days off over chrissy from the 22 December to the 2'nd Jan so we can catch up if you have time then. Oh...you'll be in Sydney then!!! Oh well. Sooner or later!! When do you leave for Sydney??

Hope Cooper's santa photos turned out well!! I have also noticed that Briley is sleeping for more during the day. Must be a growth spurt!!

Shazz - Yep i am resting!! Brent has gone hunting again this weekend so its just me and Briley. I brought a lasagne for dinner which i am going to have with salad. I borrowed some movies from mum (Angel baby and Beaches!!) and i am going to chill out on the lounge!! Managed to have an early night lastnight which was nice. Going to do the same tonight!

I have'nt got Briley's 6 month needles yet! :frown: I have been so busy lately i have'nt had time to get in into the dr before they close. I really have to get her in next week. She has to be weighed and measured too. I wonder how much she has grown since last month.

Poor little dumpling is having a terrible time with her gums. She is really grizzly today. She finally gave in about half hour ago and is asleep on the lounge room floor. The sedargel would'nt even work today. I was going to give her some panadol but decided to take her outside to watch the rain for a little while. She settled after that.

Not much on tonight. Just eating and watching movies. It raining her on and off which makes it even nicer.

Almost 7 weeks already!! I think this pg is going to go heaps quicker than Briley. Prolly cause i am working at the moment and cause i am looking after Briley when i am not at work. Feeling ok but. No sickness which is great!

I went and saw the Family Day Care lady yesterday. She was quite nice. She has a little boy who is 16 months. She also looks after 2 sisters aged 3 and 4. I was a little worried about how the other kids would take to a little baby being around though. I hope they dont poke her and stuff. Michelle (the daycare lady) has worked in CC for 4 years but has only been doing FDC for about 2 months. I am still scared about a stranger looking after Briley but i really have no choice. Another let down what the cost!! Its going to cost me just over $150pw. I could have put her in a CC for the same price, even cheaper in some places. But as she said at least she is going to get the one on one care and not a lady who has to look after 7 other babies.

Anyways, this has turned into a mammoth post!!! Hope you are all well. Hi to anyone i missed!!

Hey Sara, that was a massive post. Your night sounds like mine. I did get a lot done tonight despite Darcy not wanting to go to bed until half an hour ago. Even did my eyebrows and gave myself a pedicure (we have a party to go to tomorrow and I couldn't bare to look like I feel).

That's really sad about Chrissie for you. Can you email me your postal address please?

You know the funny thing about the PND is, once she said "Kim this is what you've got" I felt relieved kinda. Not better but easier. The clinical nurse specialist who comes here is referring me to a counsellor and I'm going to see my GP on Monday. I'm not sure what exactly comes next, but it feels better that someone has a plan, and I don't have to make a decision for myself. Only trouble is I go back to work in about 7 weeks. I don't want to have to take medication becasue they'll take my gun away. Cops aren't very nice about mental health....probably cos there are a lot of crackpots - comes with the territory.

Making a decision is really dreadful for me ATM, and I am really anxious all the time and unable to relax. I have become more compulsive about lots of stuff, and that takes up a lot of time. I even have to dress and undress Darcy the same way. I got those issues from my mum and I desperatley don't want to pass them to Darc.

Wow $150 for CC is fabulous! Around here it's about $70 a day. We would get less than $3 a day back from the govt so it's not worth it for us. And the lady's right about the one on one. Did you feel OK with her? Will you be happy to leave Briley in her care? Are you still going to go to uni?

Darcy's OK. Nothing to whinge about. Sleeping's still poo, and now during the day she wants to sleep on her belly but she wakes up bright as a button after half an hour! Not really enough time to do what I need. I let her stay up tonight becasue I couldn't be bothered fighting with her. We snuggled in my bed and I sang to her for a bit and that seemed to calm her down sufficiently for her to go to bed without a fuss.

Can't get her to eat solids though! She's so not a fan. Clamps that mouth shut....

Vic I actually just spoke to one of the Inspectors yesterday and he told me the girl who was doing my job while I was away (whom i had to fight tooth and nail to be allowed to do it) has decided she's rather have a cake eaters (I mean desk) job than work the truck, so I will be going back as a regular run-of-the-mill beat copper. That suits me because I will be able to do 2 12hr nights (6.30-6.30). Hopefully I'll be able to tee it up with Cameron's boss to have him work around my roster. If that can't happen there's always my mum. We have a cot at mum's anyway and she's the only other person Darcy's happy with. So it actually works out good for us.
There is however a 24hr CC centre opened just near us so I might look into that too incase Cam has to work days after my nights. It would be good to be able to utilise something like that as Cam leaves for work at 5am and I wouldn't get home til after 7am. If we can't he'll have to get her up and bring her to work with him so we can swap over.....lucky we work together. I'll just have to start earlier or him later those days. Sorry for the ramble.

Off to the highway patrol chrissie party today. There's a few couples there who will be 'playing' happy families. It must be the season.

    Morning Girls,

Well it looks as though i have started a chain reaction of big posts!! He he!!

Kim - Do you feel a little lighter after that post?? I imagine that was something you have been wanting to get of your chest for a while now. I'm glad you did. I am sure it was a relief finding out that something wasnt right. At least now you can get the help you need to put you on a happier path. I am ALWAYS here if you need to talk.

Awwww that sound sweet you two snuggling in bed and you singing to her. Maybe you should try playing some music for her at bed time and see if it helps her settle easier. Can't hurt.

Have a great time today!! Oh and i have emailed you my addy. Are you going to send me a chrissy card???

Vic - Yeh Michelle told me the stats for CC. I'm not sure why but i think id prefer the FDC for Briley. Maybe cause it is in a home environment.

How sweet on Dylan too do that. That is the cutest thing i've heard!! You must be very proud. Briley has been out of our room since we moved into the new house. Our room is way to small to even fit a cot in it!! So she has been in her room for a while now. She is right next to our so i always wake up when she cries.

Well Briley is being a little rat today. She is SOOOOO clingy and whingy its not funny. Its getting quite stressful. I have sent her in the bath with Brent at the moment and they are having a ball in there by the sounds of things. Those teeth must really be on there way now.

Not much on today. We are meant to be having ppl out for a roast dinner but they have'nt called or anything yet. I don't mind if they don't come cause i am really not in the mood for company. Just want to clean the house, get things ready for tomorrow, cook tea and vege!!

Cooking pancakes for brekkie now so i better get back to them before i burn the whole lot!!

Jovi's almost crawling properly! Scott busted her yesterday go a few shuffles, then I saw her today. She's certainly getting the hang of it ... will definitely be crawling properly by xmas! So cute!

Still haven't heard about the job. I ended up ringing them on Friday arvo and they said they hadn't made a decision yet so that's alright. Least I know I'm still in for a chance.

    No other news really ...

    Afternoon Girls...

Just thought I would pop my head in and say 'Hi'...

Nothing much happening here, doing a bit of scrapbooking while little miss is asleep and Samuel is happy watching the V8 supercars with his Dad. No teeth for Phoebe, but I keep checking, every couple of hours (lol). We are now entering the 3rd week of Phoebe sleeping all night. It's great....her routine is really established now and she isn't happy if we don't stick to it. Pork Roast and veggies for tea...mmmm my mouth is watering just typing it.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend...

    Take Care. X
