Well that explains it, but that is the first time that has ever happened, as we have all done that for a while now so we don't loose the thread. I have tried subscribing to the rolling threads and that has never worked for me.
Just quickly here....
Jodie posts that contain nothing but reference to being first, second, third, gold, silver or bronze are deleted automatically.
There was a thread posted about it some time ago which can be found HERE.
It is similar to when we merge double/triple posts that are posted within 5 minutes of each other, instead of being edited. They are done automatically without notifying the member also.
I am babysitting today so will be back in at some point to do personals!

Sheree I normally wait until people have posted a second time and then delete them. Sometimes that has not been till the second or third page though so it may have gone unnoticed. And others may have just been missed![]()
jodie - How cute that Shaun pushes you into the kitchen for his dummy, Arch has 2 dummies at bedtime too, he has 1 a lot during the day, though he has pulled back a bit in the last week, im not concerned by it though, im sure he wont be wanting his dummy all day when he is 10! Sounds like Shaun's speech is perfectly on track for a bilingual child, they say that bilingual kids take longer to start talking as they have so much extra to take in but once they get going they catch up very quickly, what a smart boy knowing Dad in hebrew! tahts gret that that your Stepdad/mum help out with the feed/bathe routine, its like a holiday when Jay does it at our house, makes such a difference
tania - sounds like a very busy exciting day, its great when you get out with them and really enjoy your day together. Wow almost 2nd tri already, bub will be here before we know it! The car bed sounds awesome!
sheree - oh gosh i can't believe youa re actually trying to match furniture to the bed he he he, i don't think anything matches anything in our house, i just buy whatever is functional, so we dont have the nicest looking house, never been one to take notice of the small details like that, sometimes i wish i did, but i guess thats just me...sorry i defiantely don't have any idea what to put with the bed, GL decorating though sounds like fun! Gosh it must be stressful with so little room, fingers crossed they get you moved very soon. OMG you are nearly halfway through the pregnancy, clever woman!
Arch and i spent the morning at the playground til he chucked a tanty so i bought him home to bed. got my sisters birthday tea and karaoke tonight, should be lots of fun and laughter

For sum reason I cannot get that link Sara.
sheree - i just posted in Sara's other thread, i gather she is referring to it, it is in the general health and wellbeing section.
Yeh i am not sure why its not working Sheree. As Elissa said, its in the General Health and Wellbeing Forums.
I was invited to come along and observe the birth a few weeks ago. I just called Philippa and her client is being induced this afternoon!!!!
I guess its not the first way we would have wanted labour to start but i am still so very excited!
I will let you all know how things go!
:skips out of the forums:
Ok this is a vent from me.
Grrr.....
I wonder when we are ever going to get a break with this business.
It has been beaming down rain this afternoon with thunder and lightning. It has been raining on and off for the past 3 -4 days and miserable for the past 1.5 weeks.
We have all the back to school packs waiting under the house to be finished off (with a truck of stationery that was meant to arrive today and didn't due to the roads into here being cut). Our house is not closed in underneath hence is prone to the weather. We have over 100 back to school orders that are exposed to the weather and some stuff has been wet a little but everything is just damp from the moisture in the air. There is no room in our shop to do such a volume of picking orders, nor is there any room in our house.
I have emailed housing today and there is nothing they can do with getting us a bigger lowset house any quicker. When we moved to town we asked for a highsset with a room closed in underneath and we never got it and yet there was a house not far up the road from us that was unallocated for ages after we moved in! We pay more rent then anyone here and yet they cannot do anything for us. We are still on a waiting list and they can't give us any indication how long. I have a toddler bed and sofa bed being held in a furniture store for us as we just have no room until we move. I am having another baby for god sake, I just wish this would all sort out, but I can't see if happening before the baby is born at this rate.
They are meant to be extending our shop but with the storm we had, that has held things up for sometime.
There are alot of houses empty in town that apparently have been allocated.
It is just so frustrating.
I have had 2 restless nights worrying about this and I am going mad with worry.
I am sick of all the dramas we have had with the business and want it to all go away!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry just had to get that out, I could feel my blood pressure rising.
GL tonight Sara. Hope it goes well for her.
Sheree, I've been thinking about you guys the last couple of days.that is a crap situation to be in. Is there anyones door you can bang on and speak to a real person?
Wow Elissa, your mum's keen....
Nope unfortunately that is it. I actually emailed the head huncho and he passed it to the next in charge. I actually preferred to email as I can (in Wade's words) say things the wrong way, so I wanted to think about what I was going to say. Now I got that response I wish I had a few things more, like we pay more then anyone else in town - alot more - can't you do anything!!! And there have been a few extra things I have thought I too. Sometimes tactful does not work! I mean for christ sake we have $10000 worth of stationery under the house atm. I have had my cry this afternoon, feeling a bit better, but still sux all the same!
sheree ~ take a deep breathe hun it does sux and i hope some thing gets sorted out soon for you
sara - oh thats so exciting, can't wait to hear about it!
sheree - gosh, i really don't know how people do it, running their own business and starting a family, i take my hat off to you, you are an incredible hard working couple! I really wish things would just sort themselves out for you so that you can relax and enjoy a pregnancy for once. Big hugs
Change of plans, mum realised that i didn't actually oplan on going out tonight anyway so she said she'd rather just have him Sat night instead as she was gonna have to drop Arch back in the morning anyway so there wasn't much point in her having him cause he would just be sleeping there she wouldn't actually be spending any time with him. Arch had a ball at the birthday, he was the only child so had everyones attention all night and loved it of course. Didn't leave til 10pm and he was still partying on! Oh and he has started saying "uv ooo" (love you)!!! he only says it to copy when we say it to him though.
okay just quickly cause I am at work and really should not be on.
DH came home last night and said he has been offered a 'special project' through work which takes 9 months but in Perth.
WWYD? Would you move the whole family over, or would you 'depart' ways for that period of time with a few visits in between?
Sheree - quickly read through the posts. My thoughts are with you. Hope something can be sorted out for you guys soon.
Bye,.
Ooohhh... tough call Leanne....
It would have to be pretty damn good for me to do either.
Yariv & I were apart (separate countries) for 15 months while he got another visa. I saw him in the 3rd month, but didn't see him or have any computer/email contact with him for 12 months (just phone & sms). But we weren't married then...and obviously no kids.
I think it would be really hard to be apart from your DH when you have a child.
But I think it would also be really hard to pack everything up and relocate for 9 months. What about your job? What do you do with the home you are living in?
9 months could go really quickly - or really slowly. Hey... think of your pregnancy... that's about 9 months.
Can't offer you any advice. I guess it depends on what would result from it all, how much support you have at home if you don't go, what are the consequences if you do go (job/home).....
ooohhh Elissa.... I'm so happy that Archie is saying "love you". I can't wait for Shaun to say it.
Sheree... :hugs: to you. You have had such a tough year. You must be such a strong person. Any mere mortal would have gone nuts by now. Hang in there... this too will pass. I believe that you are dealt bad hands to make you strong & appreciate the good times. And I'm sure you will have good times in abundance very soon (hey - you're having another baby - that's a start!)
Leanne ~ my husband was offered a great paying job rebuilding East Timor he was supposed to be gone for 6 months he was there 3 weeks he just couldn't do it his kids are his life and couldn't cope a minute longer i think you will find the right answer when you take every thing into account including emotions. JMO single mums and mums living without their partners are just so strong and my hat off to them and only you know whether you can do it
Hi girls,
I have just pulled myself out of bed and thought i better let you all know how it went.
Ok so the night started with a Birth Buddies "late" Christmas party. The Client, who i will refer to as A, had gels inserted at around 9.30pm lastnight. Xmas party finised at around 11.30pm with still no word on wether any progress had been made on induction.
Philippa and I aggreed on going home to try and get some rest as we were'nt sure wether labour were to start tonight to tomorrow. So i went home and managed to get in a couple of hours sleep. Woke to the phone at 1.50am. It was time.
A's regular contractions started at 10.30pm and when i arrived there at 2.30am she was well and truely in the midst of transition. I was totally blown away. I guess i did'nt expect to walk in there and be confronted with transition. A was doing wonderfully.
After some very controlled pushing, a beautiful baby boy was born at 3.13am. Placenta was delivered minutes after. After much determined baby crawling, baby latched on, himself, about an hour or so after birth.
All in all, it was the most scariest, beautiful experience i have witnessed. I am truley grateful to A, her DP and ofcourse Philippa for giving me the opportunity to witness life being born.
Now i can't wait for my next one!!!
BBL for personal. My eyes are still hanging out of the my head!
