Kim - So sorry your little ones are giving you a hard time. Am thinking of you. I guess I am lucky in a way that if Caitlyn has a bad day - daycare ladies deal with it. But I guess that is what I am paying $45 a day for! I can't imagine having two of them at home with no sleep!
Well work is still as boring as I remember it from before I went on leave. The boss has gone away for a month on leave and courses and I have nothing to do! There is actually three of us playing cheat in my office between customers who are few and far between. I am actually looking forward to an insurance inquiry - mind you I dont remember much about the policies anymore and was brushing up on them before I came to work this morning!
Anyway - customer gone - time to get on with our game

warning, this will be a pretty selfish post.

kim, you poor bugger, i wish i lived closer.

saffi, good luck with the breast feeding. although if it doesnt work out, try not to beat yourself up. you have done a brilliant job so far.

    trish, get well soon.

and now from me(may be a lil bit braggy)

i made the BIGGEST mistake last night!! Lachlan normally feeds 3 hrly through the day starting anywhere from 6-9.
well yesterday he woke at 9 fed at 12, 3 and was ready for another feed at 5(he normally goes down at 6 till midnight) so i figure, ill just feed you 100ml formula now, then ill feed and bath at 8ish so he will be down all night and i wont wake him for the midnight feed. WELL. what a disaster that turned in to. he didnt wake at 8, 100ml was apparently enough and i had to wake him at midnight and cos my boobs hadnt been used since 3, i was in HEAPS of pain. so they are still sore now!!
    here comes the brag
i always feed at midnight, he normally wakes at about 6/7, well, both yesterday and today he is waking at 9 then feeds at 12pm,3pm,6pm,12am. and is still sleeping alot during the day!!! so im pretty impressed!! he is only having the 5 feeeds a day but i figure that if he needed more, he would let me know!

Kim - hope things get better for you

Trish - hope your feeling better soon

Kate - way to go on the massive sleep for Lachlan!

Julia - I was in the babystore this morning, and there is this thing that you can put bubs into sleep to stop them rolling, but I can't remember what its called.... it looked like a good idea and it was around $30. I'll see if I can find them on the web.

I expressed about 60ml of milk this morning before Tahlia woke this morning, as they were really full, and then I tried it in the new bottle that the MCHN recommended, and she drank it! Yay for Tahlia!

    thats great kate!

Tyron recently went to 5 feeds but now i am finding he is almost cutting to 4 feeds? 1 sometimes 2 of the feeds he doesnt get all the way through it. and it really annoys me when its the ebm feed cause it goes to waste........

Hey all, I will be back to do personals later. Just wanted to check with all the Brissy girls, should we make the meetup the first Tuesday of every month? (A few of us cant make Wednesday). Would that suit everyone? That would make our next meet up the 5th February. Yeah?

Tahlia just had her first bath in the big bath, and I captured a huge smile which is now in my ticker.... she smiles like this all the time, but I've never caught it on camera before!

Aww...what a cute photo Kellie! You've gotta love smiling photos. I put Kieran in the big bath in one of those seats a few weeks ago. The big boof kept bumping his head on the little bath!

Kate - that is so excellent. Wish my Lochie was that cooperative. Got any spare EBM you can send over???
Becky - the first Tuesday of the month is fine with me except Tuesday 5/2. I am going up to Chermside to look at those photos. So unless everyone wants to hike up there, I will have to give this one a miss.
Trish - how are you feeling?
Kim - has today been better for you?
Rebecca - what work do you do? Nothing worse than having nothing to do. But at least you are being paid to do nothing. I'd be sitting there thinking of all the things I could be doing at home.

Today all I have done is breastfeed, bottle feed, express and wash and sterilise bottles. By the time all that is finished it is almost time to start again. I have noticed L is sleeping better and longer and generally seems more content and able to settle himself to sleep. Off to get some fenugreek tomorrow to see if it does help the supply. I think there may be a slight improvement, but not really sure.

Oh, I definitely saw L roll today. I had to give him a little push to get him on his tum but he did about 90% of it himself.

way to go Lachlan! i still sometimes help Tyron over he gets sooo close and just his little arm gets in the way. I havent yet seen him do tum to back but know he has done it once a few days ago.

love the new ticker pick of Tahlia. i just put Tyron in an outfit of Nixon's today and took a similar pic to what i have of Nixon, i just uploaded 2 pics in my gallery and u can see how much they look alike!

Saffi - You are a trouper! Good on you for giving it a go. I hope the fenugreek works for you.

Nic - How cute to see the two boys wearing the same outfit! They are definitely brothers!

DH is out tonight with some old workmates so I've had to bath the boys and put them to bed by myself. I am now listening to Joel chant "I'm not feeling well" over and over in a sing-song voice. I just want some peace and quiet!! I got my first belly laugh out of Kieran at bathtime. He has been giggling for a while, but I got some great bigs laughs out of him tonight, so cute! We played peek-a-boo with the towel and he found it very funny, he also cracked up when I pinched his chubby cheeks. Too bad DH missed it.

I am feeling much better than I did this morning, hopefully I am on the mend.

    Have a great night everyone!

    Hi all,
Kim I hope your day got better and you managed to get some relaxation time?? My hat is off to you and everyone else with more than one child! And the stuff came in the mail too -thanks
Tahlia and Kierens new pics are very cute!
Glad to hear you are feeling better Trish
Well done Kate and Lachlan for your great effort!
And also well done to Ty and Lachlan for rolling over (or almost..) Hayley is showing no interest in doing that just yet

I too will do a little brag - last night Hayley fed at 7pm and was asleep by 8.30. After 3 solid days of feeding every 3 hours I was spent so put myself to bed at 9.30 and next thing I know its 2am and shes just waking for a feed! So, fed at 2 then she was asleep by 3, i was asleep 2 mins later and then suddenly its 8am and shes awake for a feed!!!! Thats the best night we've had ever! (My boobs were so full though!)
As for tonight, not sure if there will be any repeat performance but so far so good. Fed her tonight at 7 and she was asleep by 8.30 so fingers crossed!!!!
