just a quicky.god i wish i could just have one of them at the moment.
hi vicky i remember you, gald you came and joined us again.
annie...still going to the gym.......2 of my kids had speech probalms, sean he had a bad stutter, as soon as he got to school, they fixed it in the first year, he had a great kindergarden teacher, ( and he got funding to have a speech teaher come in once a week for him as well, as it was pretty bad) you woulnt even know now. and nicole has real bad speech which has set her behind in everything, but its slowely getting better...i hope olivia is ok.
Well Jesse's check up went really good. She said he is really advanced for his age, sitting and crawling etc.. said how strong he is (thats for sure!).. and how im doing really well with his feeding etc. But that i really have to thank all of you gals for.. as you are all my bible when it comes to Jesse! I dont know how i would have coped with everything, the whole food thing, if i didnt have you girls to talk to and ask.. so THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!
hi girls
i don't belong in this group, but just wanted some advice. my bub is 9 weeks old, and my DH is sure he's teething. i can't see much in his mouth, but he is dribbling heaps, is more unsettled than usual, his cheeks seem more rosy, and he shoves his fist/fingers in his mouth alot. when he is whingey, i try and feed him, but he'll feed (BF) for a few minutes, and fall asleep on my boob. but if i put him in his cot he cries.
i can't give him bonjela because he's not four months yet (i'm not even sure he's teething, so i'm reluctant to give him anything anyway).
Hmm Anne...it's possible his teeth are moving in his mouth. I know Riv seemed to have trouble a long time before any teeth showed. Try letting your bub gnaw on your finger, I did that with Riv, he seemed to suck when he needed comfort, but when he gnawed I knew his teeth were an issue.
Perhaps ask in the - is there a teething section? Otherwise maybe ask in the general baby section - of course, us September girls DO know everything but it would be fair to let others have an advice-giving turn if our suggestions don't work for you.
I didn't get a PM Sharle! Waaaaaaaah! (umm sweetie, you will know who is platinum/life cos they have an avatar!)
Hi Anne..
Babies can teeth for months before the teeth show. Jesse's first didnt come through until he was 5.5 months old but im sure he started around 3 months. But from memory around that age (9weeks) he did become more dribbley and had to wear a bib most of the time... started to put his hands in his mouth, discovered his voice etc too. I think that may just be what they do at that age.
Yeh, i would hold off on the bonjela. If youve tried everything (burping/nappy/feed etc) and he's still crying, then perhaps give some baby panadol (i found this to be the best thing, even when teething). But by the sounds of it to me he's just a normal bubba. They all go through that sort of thing from time to time.. unfortunately they cant tell us whats wrong so we just have to try everything.
Anne - its possible he is teething but teeth may not come through for months yet! My son started teething at about 9 weeks and he only had his two bottom teeth break through at 6.5mths. I suggest you try some panadol before bed and lots of things for him to chew on! One of our lovely ladies here (Maz) makes taggy blankets for bubs to chew on, you might like to try one of those? I know our bubs love to chew on tags of any kind lol Good luck!
Kell - hun your welcome! I cant believe how great our group of girls are. I know youve all been a huge help to me too and Im sorry I dont participate enough.
Well Im bored. Yes thats right bored. Why? Because I cleaned the house like a madwoman yesterday so there is absolutely NOTHING to do today. Alas, next week will not be boring because I guarantee after having His-Messy-Highness and his prodigy home for the whole weekend it will be a shyte fight again.
On a good note - I have tomorrow off! Yep thats right a Mama-Day-Off. Dh has to go into work because the living-in dude's have horrible housework skills and never have their rooms clean enough so everyone got dirked with going in on Saturday to help them clean up. Can you believe it? So DH and two of his mates told the boss that myself and the other wives had planned to go to Melb for the day and leave the kids with them, thinking it would get them out of it. Nope they said 'Bring the kiddo's with you!' obviously they have no idea that cleaning+crawling babies=more mess! I bet theyll last an hour before they send them home. Still I get the day off and I cant wait! A sleep in, then a movie and lunch with the other girls.
It's been a hectic day for me, which started at 8am normally I don't like my day starting before 9am. Had to organise the funds for Heath's bike, then go the dr's. Nina had a checkup and her ears are all cleared up now, plus her cold & cough has gone Dr has given me steriods for my chest infection, so it doesn't get worse. I'm feeling pretty good now, breathing heaps better, my chest is just a tad bit tight each time I breathe, but nothing I can't handle.
I love Friday's cause Heath finishes at 2, so he can help out with Nina.
JOdie - did you get lyour package yet honey?
AnnaT - thanks for the complement honey (re taggies) how are you going these days? HOpe you have a great weekend and not a yucky one.

maz - got it just then. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU she's gonna love it. She's only just woken up, so I'll give it to her now. Can't wait to get into that little bottle you sent me too. That pic of Vy is soooo cute, I've got it on my fridge ATM, I'll put it in her scrapbooking album when I start it.
AnnaT - iv got everything crossed foryou honey. I hope that it works and iud PMSL if it was quad...NOT!
Jodie - I jsut bought a food processor from coles for $30. its their brand and its a 1.2l. Jed can give it to me for mothers day.
Nesse - why that little...grrrr.
mum picked savanna up about an hour ago
i should be cookin dinner but i really cant be f'd too lazy today!!
little missy is becoming so cheeky!! she can now wave when you say hello to her.
she can say dadda and her new word is bubba. too cute!!!
she is holding and walking around all over the place!
oh for those that dont know... baby bunting is selling cot protectors.
instead of the thick cot bumpers these ones are made from soft mesh fabric and strap onto the sides of the cot to keep bubbas arms and legs from dangling out and causing injuries.
its fantastic!!! also bubs cant stand on it too climb out as it collapses down. its awesome!!!
no personals right now cause i feel too slack
hehehe
Im trying really hard not to cry. I know its just the clomid messing with me but I am so fricken mad, frustrated, upset Dh comes home an hour late. Tells me that our neighbours/friends across the road are going to have drinks at thiers. So I ask "What time, is dinner involved, just the boys or everyone?" The answer "I dunno."
So I had a tanty about how people need to be more organised because I dont live my life according to what everyone else decides last minute etc etc etc Then I had a tanty about how much I hate it here and how Im so lonely, I have to make all the sacrifices with everything - moving, friends, family, TTC - and he can just hop along happy as larry. Then I moved on to how we left great reliable do-anything-for-you friends in Sydney and Perth to come here and have half assed make-stupid-life-decisions unreliable friends.
And here I was thinking that I would escape the clomid side effects
Hubby has banned me from the compt tonight.. so i will check in over the weekend sometime..
