Cally - enjoy your baby free time. I find I stand there at the shop and I'm always putting my hand out to grab the pram next to me...even when it's not there LOL. Bit like when you're not holding the baby but you still sway like you are ! I cannot tell you how rejeuved I feel just from going to the cinema by myself for a couple of hours. Does a world of good. Glad K was ok after her fall, DH will learn to cope as they get happen more often!

E would love it too because I was holding up some scarves at the op shop the other day, so she could pick one to play with at home, and she chose this (*bleurgh*) hideous red and blue country one with saddles and ropes all over it PMSL! Noni I like your idea of the butterfly cake! A park picnic sounds lovely. I did a garden party themed Bday for DD when she turned 4. I did a big round cake as the middle of the flower and little cakes all around it as the petals, and then I used the large smarties to make a caterpillar in the shape of a 4 in the middle (black icing legs LOL). We also had the MD special, where you ice arrowroot biscuits, and then using lollies and icing tubes, you make pictures on them - like spiders, ladybirds, little flowers, etc. They always look excellent and the kids loooove them.

Haley, I'm sooo glad for you that the cheese thing went ok with Maddie, I know how worried you were after the first time. I'm going to try E on some cheese this weekend, just a little pile of grated cheese so she can finger-food-it.

Our friends who were coming up for the weekend have rung to say they *might* be having the start of gastro at their house. So if they come it'll be a day later so they have time to make sure no one is ill. Which is good as it gives me more time to work on getting the spare room sorted out! It's firecracker weekend here, so we're thinking of having a little brazier bonfire with marshmallows for the kiddies and mulled wine for the grownups...mmmmm!
