Gracie, I nominate Lacey or Raceyas your new nickname ROFL! Stop bragging about your roaring fire, its sooooo not fair!! Hey, speaking of pinecones, I'm thinking of trying to do a natural airfreshener for E's bedroom (near the bin area
). I was thinking natural vanilla in an alcohol solution in a bowl with something dunked in it to act like a wick - pinecone was the first thing that came to mind. Do you reckon that would work?
Cally, I had the "ouch" moment when I was thinking about K too. Brought back memories, actually!
Pregpan, I'm hoping N has turned the corner for you as well.
Clare I agree, she's brave!! It took me 8 years to work up the courage to go again LOL!
Jordie, if she's not really fussed about water, try a bit of rice milk (it's sweet like breast milk). Then once she's got the hang of drinking you could go back over to water again.
ETA Leanne, will be thinking of you and J tomorrow. Hope it goes well and it's the first step to really fixing the problem.
Arte - ow re the blockage. I hope the headache isn't the start of mastitis. Get to a dr straightaway if you start feeling flu-ey. Giving it a good massage under a hot shower helps as well.I saw my dr yesterday too re horrible nipple pain (it's now got a bleeding blister on it!!! Ow and she's given me ABs but also took a swab cos it's been going on and on). I can't say it's feeling better yet but I have great confidence that it will soon.

So I camped her on the lounge then got Alister out of bed who was now wide awake and went and sat on the recliner with him. Then Paige threw up on the lounge and basically anything within 2ft of her. So the night continued like that - I had about 2hrs sleep and still felt like ****e. Then Erin came down with it over Wednesday night. So she was home yesterday and she also had the runs because she already had a cold so her immune system was already battered. To cap it off, when I picked Lindsay up off the bus yesterday, he was asleep and I had to wake him up, and he looked wretched, so I asked him if he was OK and he said his tummy was sore *alarms bells start ringing at this point* and on the short 700mt trip home he threw up in the car - thank god for leather upholstery is all I can say - much easier to clean than the old car. But he is fine now. I have them all home today as I want them to just rest and try to get their immune system sorted before sending them back to school. Paige could have gone to Preschool today as she is well, but I couldn't risk it.
