There have been some freezing nights/early mornings this week. I am not a fan of Winter but thankfully we have a good heater now.

My little one is doing pretty well. We are breastfeeding which is going really well. Her weight gains are good, but have slowed a little this week. She has been really unsettled after feeding and only wants to sleep for short periods whilst being held. We saw the M&CH nurse today who thinks she has colic. Got some Infant's friend this arvo, and she has been more settled after giving that to her. We both went to bed and she slept for a few (much needed) hours.

Do you change nappy at every feed during the night? We are still using disposables at the moment but hoping to start with cloth soon. Not sure if this makes a difference. Is anyone else using cloth?

I'm getting bit confused over how and where she should be sleeping at this stage. And which 'style' of parenting i (and we) are most comfortable with. I think i am leaning to more 'gentle'/attachment style methods but DH is probably not as much at this stage. We will have to work out what we can both be happy with.

I went to the first mother's group this week. Found someone who lives in my town, so may set up a walking 'date' next week. We all fairly different but hopefully i will find some women i 'click' with.

hope all is going well,

take care,

Kate
