I'll pop back later to do some personals, but wanted to wish you all a happy new year.
We managed to stay up till midnight, but I "hit the wall" at 12.01am!

Jacob is growing like a mushroom - haven't had him weighed since 23 Dec (he was 4.3kg, up from birth weight of 3.6kg), but I reckon he must be closer to 5kg. I had to go and exchange three boxes of Huggies newborn nappies today (for Infant size) - there was no way the little tyke was going to fit the newborns for much longer, so I wasn't opening a new box. It's no wonder though, he feeds like he's a bottomless pit. Will get him weighed on Tuesday with the child health nurse at our local pharmacy.

I had an OMG moment this morning - after feeding Jake about 10.30pm-11pm, he slept through till 7am this morning . Not sure this is necessarily a marvellous thing, though I'm not complaining - I was always led to believe they need a feed/top up during the night until at least 3-4 months of age. Anyhoo - not complaining, trust me. DS1 slept through the night from around 3 months and Jake seems to be following a similar pattern.

As indicated, I'll pop back later on to do personals ... have friends popping over later and I really must go pull out the vacuum cleaner while the kids are sleeping!
