Tilda - Oh you poor thing! Sound like you had a rotten day! Don't you hate it when everything goes wrong at once! Maybe you got all your bad stuff out of the way for a while, perhaps things will improve for you now! Yes, Michael is the same with his play gym thing, he wants anything and everything in his mouth, and its just no good having things dangling in front of his face! So glad things went well with your DH Sounds like he's very understanding I've tried nappy-free time with Michael most days...but usually ends up with him weeing everywhere and me putting all the blankets he lies on in the wash...thats even with a terry towelling "old-fashioned" nappy underneath his nudie bits, but they dont' soak up diddly-squat!! Yeah, I'll keep an eye on his feeds. I used to love feeding him, but now its become such a drawn-out battle...
Alison - actually yeah, I tried letting Michael suck on my knuckle yesterday and this morning and he's actually biting down and rubbing his gums on it, so perhaps he is at the beginning stages of teething too? Poor little monkey. $7 to get photo's done??! Wow! What a bargain! Michael still does those poo's every now and then too...more yellowy with "mustard seeds" in it. And he's been FF for a long time! Oh you poor thing getting up every hour! But yeah, something is going on last night, it was like he just couldn't get off to sleep properly after that, he was trying tho. I hope tonight isn't the same...just what we need in the lead up to a busy weekend!
Rose - Gosh, sounds like we're all having a rough time at nights! You poor thing with the 2am wake up. I wish this phase would hurry up and finish already! During the day, when I'm home he has only ever slept in his cot or bassinet - I was definite that I didn't want him getting used to falling asleep anywhere but his own bed (apart from once when he fell asleep on our bed during a mega-cranky time). But then, perhaps I was able to do that because he has generally been a very good sleeper. Its only when we're out that he falls asleep in the pram or car seat. I've been wondering when seperation anxiety would start...must be soon then, I haven't noticed it in him yet.
BS - I agree with Alison ....sooo jealous of Parisian clothes for Eva! Wonder if they'd have anything nice for boys? Hmm...might have a look on Vert Baudet website, they're French, aren't they? I'm so happy for you that Eva is much more settled. Is your DH enjoying feeding her too? Wow, thats fantastic that she knows to pull that ring to make the music!
AFM - as I mentioned on fb...Michael has been out of sorts this morning. First waking at 3.30am, which he hasn't done since he was prolyl abuot 9 weeks old. So I put the dummy in...woke up again 20 mins later...dummy in...another 20 mins...and another 5 mins...etc etc. Ended up taking my pillow into his room and lying down there, not that I could sleep, but at least I was resting. Then he didnt' get up till 7am! Unheard of! There is definitely something going on. Must be wonder week. I had the same thing happen last Thursday actually. Wierd. So yeah, pretty tired today. But I think I'll still go for my walk, its such a lovely day!
