Kartier, that is the most horrible thing I have ever heard. It sounds to me that your DD may have fallen from a height from something straight onto her poor little face. I can't see how an almost 2 year old can move fast enough to "bump her nose" so badly that it fractures bones in her face. I really do hope that you get some justice and that that daycare centre gets what's coming to them. And I hope that your DD is back to her normal self ASAP.

As for the orginal post, I would take my child out of that daycare. What if he had choked? Would they have attended to him then? If they are to busy at that time of day they should put casual staff on to accomodate during those busy times. Daycare providers as responsible for the lives of these little ones while they are in their care and the job needs to be done appropriately - not to mention you pay them enough to do it!
